Hah. I meant the "trivia contest" part. Don't get your feelings hurt; it sounds like a worthy charity.
You don't like doing trivia? I find it to be humbling. The same teams get together every fundraiser, and there are two that dominate. The rest of us just enjoy ourselves, except for those things that we know we know but can't quite resurrect.
I love trivia! I play a Facebook game every day called Quiz Planet. It's you against everyone in the USA. In some categories I truly suck, like "Celebrities" or "Science" but others I do well in. Sometimes they ask very obscure questions that others get correctly...they must be cheating and looking up the answers! Anyway, it's fun.
"Twinkie Trivia." It was a natural progression. The most annoying false advertising lately are all the Medicare plans on TV. I love it when they say, "Call to hear all the free stuff and pie in the sky! It's FREE." Of course the small print is that the CALL is free, but that's not what they are betting on you to hear.
Yeah, I'm seeing one about getting up to $700 in free groceries from an Advantage Plan. At least I think it's an Advantage Plan. The ad doesn't exactly say.
This is actually not too far-fetched. Right now, with our Humana Advantage plan, we have what is called “Healthy Benefits”, and it is $35 per month that can be used for groceries. That works out to $420 per year, and both Bobby and I get that benefit, so for both of us, it is $840 per year. The benefits will change for next year, and our health insurance agent said to stay with Humana again, and they are giving even more benefits in 2023.
