My opinion on people who have tattoos is on a par with people who eat meat : I don't do either - but I don't judge those who do. It's called 'personal choice' - a freedom we all have. Personally, I think there are far more important / serious things in life to think about. ..
Well, the "staying logged off" didn't last long! This forum is just too interesting to stay away very long. And, I didn't ask my wife if I could and she didn't say that I couldn't, so............LOL
Like a former friend of my wife who doesn't support farmers/ranchers with eating meat. Note, I did say "former", because after she told us that she doesn't care what happens to farmers/ranchers, we stopped all communications with her. As far as tattoos go, it is a "personal choice" that some who get them, end up highly regretting they did. As far as judging goes, most people do judge others, they simply don't want to admit it...........even those covered in tattoos/piercings. As far as that word "freedom" goes, many people take that word way, way to far. Now, this is only our opinion, but many people in America share it.
Each of us is a literal autobiography that we can read for ourselves, page by page, just by looking at a figurative mirror. If we’d spend more time reading our own book, there wouldn’t be enough time to attempt to read the autobiographies of others.
And, Bobby, there are plenty of people, that seem to have a good heart, but are definitely bad people full of tattoos! I see/read about different people, with a face full of tattoos, that commit all kinds of deadly crime. Also, the Bible states that marriage is between a man and woman and just where has that gone?
Don’t reference the Bible when you’re busy going against nearly everything Christ taught. I’m really tired of folks who have little to do with the Bible who try to run to it in order to make their own agenda a point.
I have a Men's Bible that I read Devotions everyday. Anyway, I sure don't see popular Pastors, like Pastor Rick in So. California, have tattoos all over him and neither does Joyce Meyers or Pastor John Hagee or his son. Now, tell me, Mr. Bobby, just how much do you have to do with the Bible............today, not years ago. Wife and I are both Christians, but there are certain things that the Bible says is wrong, like gay marriage, that seems nobody cares about anymore. Actually, my wife spends time, each morning, reading her Bible. If we weren't Christians, we wouldn't have Christian movies, like The Shack, Risen and a few others. Do you have Christian movies and watch them? Just wondering, so don't get mad. It's only a question. One other thing, Bobby, are you a "true-blue Christian"? Many of us say we are, but when it comes right down to it, we aren't nearly as much as we'd like to be. Same goes for judging others. Many say they don't, but in reality, they definitely do.
At this point, I don’t give a dern about tattoos. I don’t care who does or doesn’t have one and I really could care less how much you hate them and the people who have them. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Rom. 3:23 There is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3:10 I try not to compare my own ethics and morals to that of anyone else but that said, I also DO NOT try to look for something wrong about another person as YOU have continually made a point to do. And, it doesn’t matter how much you might read a devotion or what kind of Bible you may have. Many are they who have the tools it would take to build a house but never use what they have to do anything more than to look at them and brag about what they have. Moreover, it doesn’t make any difference that your wife reads the Bible because her reading it has nothing to do with YOUR soul unless she’s praying that you start applying what that Bible says.
How many years has this tattoo BS been going on? Why do people respond and keep it going? I've never seen anything so crazy. Sorry, but that's the truth.
Tats BS /by satan/ ? or just in evil society ? Somewhat for centuries, but far worse in recent decades as everything gets worse and closer to the end.
