I found an easy recipe for slow-cooker chicken enchilada casserole, so I am making it and that is what we are having for dinner. I followed the recipe, but added onions, jalapeños and green peppers , and some fresh tomato and avocado to go on top.

Faye's Holiday snack tray leftover soup. Lots of baby carrots, celery with peanut butter on them, broccoli, red and yellow peppers, peppercini's, and snow peas, all pulverized under the power of my large Cuisinart food processor. That shush was added to a quart of tomato juice. Lots of spices. I also added several leftover various cheese squares that I shredded. While it is edible, it wouldn't end my widowhood at a senior bachelorette cook-off contest. I think goats would like it, but I am not sure about old goats. .
Last afternoon's soup, after I ate about a cup, left a foul aftertaste that I couldn't even wash out double gargling with brandy. All 1.5 quarts of it went down the drain with the help of my high-speed Moen garbage disposal. The old saying that too many ingredients spoil the soup is factual.
