Hubby is at the dentist having a cap replaced, so I'll probably make soup for dinner. Either split pea with ham or chicken noodle with leftover rotisserie chicken.
Making turkey salad sandwiches with the last of the leftover turkey in the freezer. Mr. man will have a side of potato chips with his sammie, and I'll have a dill pickle.

Leftover potato soup. It was the best I have ever made. I think it was the sour creme I added and also some finely hacked mostly fat bacon. Nothing like pig fat for flavor. I added the sour creme about 1 hour before the finish time. I cook it for 4 hours.
I have made beef stew in the crockpot many times, but I also make it in the oven. Depends on my mood.
