A belated good morning to all. I'm still on my hospital/nursing home sleep, pattern, which is little if any. Took me to 11am to get my energy up. Anyway, we have a bright, sunny 50's degree day, if you're into that. I'm not too up to spending much time online yet. It'll happen though. I got a lot of stuff to catch up on. Right now, laundry is my main concern. So, if you gotta go out, be careful. Those gun free zone signs don't work.
Thanks. I'm sure happy to be back. While I was in a nursing home going through rehab, I threw a scare into one of the aides. Sometimes the room was a bit chilly at night. Then, I would pull a sheet over my head and sleep. One night an aide looked in on me while doing her check. She saw me in bed totally covered with a sheet. She said, "Ike". Before I could wake up enough to answer A louder, "IKE"! Me-"what"? Aide-" What are you doing"? Me-"Sleeping". Aide-"You scared the heck out of me".
Morning everyone ..it's Tuesday ...I'm up already and it's only 6.45 am..mornings are getting cooler ,floor tiles are feeling cold on the feet had to dig out and dust off my slippers this morning..
@Kate Ellery , it has to be fun being ahead of so many in time. You could maybe tell us what has happened that we are not aware of yet. You are 16 hours ahead of me in Houston, Texas. So something could be happening right now that you already know about. Of course I know there is some scientific way of telling me why I'm wrong, but I don't know them. So my imagination can come up with some really neat scenarios. My excuse is I'm running a fever, and I don't feel like thinking clearly. Oh, and I'm starting to wear my flip flops this week. My granddaughter informed they were not called thongs anymore.
@Kate Ellery , you know there has to be a few people sitting in your and our prisons right now for just that. But, it might be worth it next November when our elections are going on. But let's not give anyone any ideas. With my luck, it would all end up my fault.

Good Morning, Y'all. Wow, it's almost 5:00. I've been up for a couple of hours already. The cats are still asleep, though. So are the birds. It's pretty peaceful here, but I'd rather be sleeping. Hopefully I can get a little more sleep before I officially get up. It looks as if we'll be getting some storms tonight and over the next few days, so I might try to make a run to the store later, but not until after some sleep. Hope everyone has a beautiful day!
