You have every right to moan, Holly. You work hard and I know your back is worse than mine and I can barely stand the pain I have sometimes.
I'm excited we received about an Inch in old terms of rain ..It's a good reason to be excited ,we hadn't had any rain for about six months and with the hottest Feburary on record it's been really horrible ... I took these from my front verandah and out on the road in front of my home ..It's lovely to have the reserve right across the road but we have been getting heaps of dust as they mow the area weekly just to mow the weeds
I spent my career working for Whirlpool Corp. so I get a discount on appliances. I also get a good deal on factory mistakes. As sometimes happens, one side of an assembly line is not exactly coordinated with the other. Since the main difference in models are mostly cosmetic, such as a different arrangement of shelves and such, most parts from a same size product will interchange. The refrigerator I have now happened to have a Kitchenaid freezer compartment in what was supposed to be a Sears Kenmore. They couldn't sell it as Kitchenaid or Kenmore so I bought an $1800 refrigerator for $400.
It was a glorious spring day with blue skies and no wind, so I decided to have a day off from my current high intensity spring cleaning/de-cluttering project. I went shopping for food and some clothes to replace the old ones I disposed of. I decided to leave the car at home and walked some 5 miles and took a bus to the nearby town of Malvern where I used to live, it's about 25 minutes on a bus and there is one every 10 minutes so easy to catch, it's also free being a senior, so an added bonus. A very enjoyable day. Tomorrow it's back to the project I came across this Irish fiddler playing while on a tightrope in Worcester.
Yes it is I guess a wire slung between the bank and the tree opposite would have looked better, but health and safety rules
My day sucked big time this afternoon. I walked past my kitchen and though Pickles had peed on the floor but it wasn't pee, it was water coming from under my fridge. I don't really use my fridge in the kitchen because it hasn't been cooling too well, so just use the one in the garage. After Terry looking up my Manuel and trying to help me he said I need to get behind my fridge and turn off the water supply. It took me two hrs to do all this and I how it won't leak anymore...not too sure if I turned the spigot in the right direction. I unplugged the fridge and started cleaning the mess behind it, my back feels frozen...I'm not even pushing the fridge back tonight. @Ken Anderson, @Sheldon Scott or anybody know if I did it right?
Wow, Chrissy I wish I could advise. . I bought a new fridge like a year or so ago and had issues with it before the warranty expired. They did fix it though. It's one of those with freezer on the bottom.
Chrissy not Holly This is as old as the house, I don't care about the fridge I just don't want to have water leaking all night. Actually it's not as old as the house, it's 13 yrs old.
Just woke up @Chrissy Page and it looks like you got the fridge isolated OK, shame I was too far away to help you physically you need to rest your back after all that effort. Take care.
