Well said Heidi. I remember last year when our employers gave us multi coloured lanyard neck straps to wear, in support of the LSBTQ, or whatever they call themselves, anyway I made a stand and refused to wear it unless it was compulsory in which case I'd have to involve our union.
We reckon that eventually we'll be sharing the same washroom facilities, a few of us, including male colleagues, have said we will boycott them. Some of our male colleagues are uncomfortable with the sanitary products in their toilets so are already boycotting them.
And I hope you all peacefully speak your minds. If They can have rights and speak their minds then we also should do the same.
Therein lies the problem….the word peacefully. During a supposedly peaceful debate, Ben Shapiro was threatened by a trans simply because he refused to acknowledge that there are more than 2 genders. Another incident included Riley Gaines (NCAA swimmer) when she was going to speak at a California university. She was kidnapped by some trans sympathizers and trans men and locked in a classroom and also physically assaulted by one of those trans men. It’s the same old story it seems. When no factual rebuttal can be had in a civil discourse, the ignorant will eventually resort to violence.
So is there anyone who actually works there that this is supposed to accommodate, or did the business enact the policy "just because"?
I don't know of any that work with us, there are 2 lesbians though and I don't like them walking into the locker room when I'm getting changed so I get changed in an empty office, I like my privacy and I certainly don't want lesbians invading my privacy.
Funny how a Hostile Work Environment is a one-way street. This is mostly the doings of the business, not the individual members of a "class."
There was a case here in the UK of a man raping a woman, then during the investigation he transgendered into a woman, when he was found guilty he thought he was going to a female prison but he got that wrong, he's gone to a male prison and rightly so!
Every time I see a post about speaking out, I’m reminded of this passage from Ayn Rand. https://courses.aynrand.org/lexicon/moral-judgment/
Reminds me of the comedy line: “ I have finally gotten in touch with my inner feminine self and found out that she’s a lesbian”.
Ha! …and that reminds me of this joke. “An old cowboy sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. As he sat sipping his drink, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the cowboy and asked, “Are you a real cowboy?” He replied, “Well, I’ve spent my whole life, breaking colts, working cows, going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy.” She said, “I’m a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of women.” The two sat sipping in silence. A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, “Are you a real cowboy?” He replied, “I always thought I was, but I just found out I’m a lesbian.””
Some of these Trans women are getting real women pregnant in the prison system. They should help these freaks totally transition when they go to jail by cutting off that appendage.
