I have never seriously thought there was any real justification for pitchfork politics until now. There has never been a better reason for the 99% to stand up to the 1% and do whatever it takes to bring some clear thinking to the law making body of that state.
The only legal way to do that is by writing and marching and neither seems to be working. I think we are fighting on too many fronts.
I don't make a big deal about most transgressions (IMHO) But public display is rude. Whether it is heavy making out, no matter which sex, or pushing your agenda in my face after I have shown my disdain. Fighting FOR children can get you into a courtroom battle these days.
Concerning @Hedi Mitchell post, I agree that maybe in some cases a viewer of the forum might get the idea that any that aren't in the natural born male, female, or natural born intersex categories are not welcome here. This is why as others have already posted, getting to know members and their religious and political beliefs as well as their lifestyle, is important to understanding each other. I think the key to understanding is never making anything personal or agenda driven. I would venture to guess that if a lesbian joined and just mentioned her preference, then while some would have beliefs that she had committed a sin against God, they would have the curtesy not to voice that in a personal way, just simply as their belief and then let it go. Agendas work both ways. My stand is that any other than a male female sexual relationship doesn't make sense to me, but if it works for others go for it just don't try to force it on everybody else. Since other than the male female relationship has been exaggerated by TV, movies, and other media, so many now think it is the normal and every other person has deviated from their natural birth sex. One element of misunderstanding comes from this being a conservative based forum and the idea that all conservatives are Christians that believe in a magical God. This is also the falling down of many conservative folks in our country, that they want to force God as they believe on everyone else. They want to legislate God and continually harp about God being removed from schools and public places. Think about it! The old puritan movement to force God and dogma as males believed on others, is what brought about revolt and the rise of the evangelical Christians that then forced their beliefs into politics. The result is what we see happening today. While my beliefs are different than the tradition "Christian", I respect all that pattern their lives using the Bible as a guide. However I don't respect anyone that tries to force their beliefs on me or society. Two of my best women friends for many years that I windsurfed and played beach volleyball with, where lovers and stayed together until they both died from cancer a few years apart. They never discussed anything sexual with me or anyone else. They were loved by everybody that knew them. I never felt uneasy around them and they kept any affection out of the public eye. What we see going on today, in every facet of society, is a tearing down of a system instead of making necessary changes. I blame the change on those that were successful in forcing their religious ideas and legislating them on society as the law of the country and God. As they say, paybacks are hell. The sad thing is, we all suffer. I have always been a proponent of separating religion from politics because a study of history showed me where such leads. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. Is the madness going on today any worse than the madness of murdering women as witches because of male ignorance or the taking Indian kids away from their parents and punishing them until they conformed to the Catholic ways of so called Christianity? Christianity isn't about Christ if it is forced on others.
I think that’s all pretty accurate. I’ve stated a couple times on this forum that, because I believe in nothing supernatural, I do not believe in a god or gods. I know there are a good number of very religious folks here. No one has criticized me or attacked my lack of belief, probably because I have not done so to them. When someone starts shaming people, or criticizing them, because their beliefs are different, that’s when the friction starts. Whatever happened to live and let live?

Oops... that didn't go well. NEW YORK (AP) — The marketing executive who oversaw a partnership between Bud Light and a transgender influencer is taking a leave of absence after it snowballed into cries for boycotts from some angry customers, according to media reports. Alissa Heinerscheid, Bud Light’s vice president of marketing, will be replaced by Todd Allen, most recently global vice president of Budweiser, according to reports from Beer Business Daily and Ad Age.
#1: Scapegoat #2: "Leave of absence" = "Get out of town until this blows over" ps: WTH is a "transgender influencer"?
Don’t worry Tom…. The woke one’s will figure out a way to screw that up too and use that word “Wild” to mean something totally different.
I do not know why I’m thinking of such things but I just thought of a question about trans men in women’s sports thing again. Why is it that trans men only pick those women’s sports where size and strength matter? They compete in weight lifting, wrestling, track and field and swimming just to mention a few but I.do not see any competing in say…women’s pool and billiards or chess, darts, archery, sharpshooting or even ping-pong. Is it that they won’t compete in something that women can perform as well as men or is it that trans men Can’t compete in something that takes a little more mental ability? Or….perhaps those sports do not have women’s locker rooms?
I believe they choose things that allow them to exercise their vanity. Their whole lives seem to be about “look at me”.
