The problem is that aggravating problems shoot back...and you just might be someone else's aggravating problem.

I got smart azz replies to everyone else's comments, but I can't yet think of a series I'd like to be in.

I just thought back to a time when I was happy and life mostly carefree, then picked a show from that time period. Plus Cheers is in a bar, so there's that. :D

The TV series would be "DaVinci's Demons", provided I could hang out and drink beers with the ultimate Renaissance man himself.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I always wanted an apartment just like Mary's original one.

    Lavern and Shirley.
I DID live in a basement apartment in Milwaukee back then. I loved the town then. Not so much now.

I used to love touched by an angel ….so in answering the question , I liked the fact Monica would bring people messages of hope and give them guidance to help make decisions.

maybe I liked it cause I’d been in dire straits myself with no food or shelter for myself and 3 kids .

The very reason I ended up in South Aust and have never looked back .

In 1953 it was series re-runs and I choose Flash Gordon, looked pretty realistic being as young as I was back then.

Just thought about The Ozzie & Harriet Show. Talk about a wholesome and real family. Compared to today (2023), life was much, much easier!

Well, Matt didn't always kill the person he aimed his gun at. One episode, when a gambler came to town that Matt knew, Matt knew that somehow the guy was cheating at cards. Matt interrupted a card game this gambler was at and the gambler tried to shoot Matt. Matt didn't get shot, but Matt shot the gambler's right hand. Matt took the guy to Doc's office and after bandaging up the hand, told the gambler he'd never deal cards again. After that, the gambler and Matt went back to being close friends.

I have been mulling over the possibilities of a TV show where I would want to be. Since tv has to have drama, in most cases, the old westerns like Bonanza are out, and I haven’t watched much television for a long time. But this morning, I think that the one I want came to me……..
I want to live in Beverly Hillbillies !

They live in a huge mansion with all of the comforts, have lots of excitement but nothing really bad ever happens. Ellie May Clampett always is bringing home some kind of animal, like a monkey or a goat, or who knows what else. I love animals !
They have LOTS of money, so I would never have to worry again about not having enough money for food, gas, or a place to live. All of the Clampetts are a friendly bunch, and I even kind of like the old car. I am sure that Granny has an eccentric cousin that could show up from Alabama and live with them.
So yes, I will “load up the truck and head for Beverly”, as the song goes.

PS you will find me out back in the swimming pool…..

Some very good choices here on the 2nd page. I had forgotten about Laverne and Shirley, Ozzie and Harriet and Happy Days. Excellent!

I've been told I was an aggravating problem a few times but in my version of Gunsmoke I just can't imagine anyone having the nerve to tell him he was an aggravating problem. We all know what could happen if they did.

This is a very good idea. I may have to steal it. :D
