It used to be that things were made to please the purchaser. Remember the phrase, 'the customer is always right'? We could have prevailed on Philips to bring that refrigerator model back. Now we are being forced into the computer age. Washing machines don't need a mother board--they don't even know who their father is! I have a two burner hot plate from the 70's. That is pretty much all a stove is--a hot plate and a box with an element underneath. I definitely don't need all the crap on cars and wish I had the choice but electric cars will be worse. It will take AI and computers to fix anything... I actually bought a used washing machine instead of buying a motherboard to replace the bad one in my 2 year old washer. The MB cost as much as the machine did!
People look at my old pale looking 42 year old truck but I like it and it drives as good as it did when it was new. It does need some work but it will have to wait until I feel like going out and spending a couple hours bending over the radiator. I will eventually get around to doing it I just don't like to jump into a project too quick, especially when it is so hot out you pass out walking to the truck from the front door. This old stove I have stopped working 12 years ago and I could have gotten a new stove all I had to do was ask for it but I was eating out everyday while I was still working and even now that I don't work I found I can microwave something and eat just as well if not better. I have zero intake of greasy foods and only once a month I buy a little container of chicken fingers and spicy fries, not really spicy but some kind of spice on them. The cats love those taters as well as I do. They climb over one another trying to take a bite of tater I am holding. So after sharing that chicken and taters I find I don't eat much greasy food at all. The Cats are Happy Campers

I haven't watched any news lately except the war in Ukraine but I saw that there is direct evidence of biden taking bribes and all the evidence was forced to be released to committee. I have a feeling ole slo joe won't be around much longer. Before they could impeach him or jail him he will declare that he is mentally unfit to stand trial. That's alright we'll allow his boy to answer questions for him. FBI is in this corruption waist deep and the entire department should be shut down. How much longer do they expect this nation to accept such inept leadership. Once they started cozening up with these corrupt politicians like the clintons it was only a matter of time. You don't hear much about it but James Comey's wife was given about 80,000 dollars from hillary clinton for her run for an office. That would be dnc money not hillary's stolen money. One thing about those clintons they do not use their own money and most often take other peoples money. Had they all not been elected they most likely would have all been in a federal prison today.

I heard a blurb on the news this morning that concerned a guy who is on death row for killing, then raping a young girl and then murdering someone else. The story continued with the inmate wanting sex reassignment surgery and when he was denied said surgery, the ACLU picked up the case saying that the inmate’s health was in danger if he didn’t get the taxpayer paid operation. I wonder: If he finally gets the operation, can he perhaps go back to court with a new name and new sex and claim not guilty on the basis that his new persona isn’t the man who committed the crimes?
