There was a Pride event on the White House lawn today.

And, we still have 2 1/2 weeks of Pride Month left! Almost every day of this month, so far, there have been demonstrations, some parents having their kids step on/stomp Pride Flags and now, the Pride Colors being hung outside the White House between two American flags and women showing their bare breasts. Part of America is disgusted with all of this and part of America loves it.

And, we thought America was being torn by racial stuff, but now Pride Month is going on. Sometimes I can truly understand why some Seniors, who are in drastic pain a lot, say "Lord, please take me away from all of this crap!"

I looked around the net and ... near as i can find the queer community comprises about 2-4% of our population. Some sites say as high as 7% ? Believe whom you will.

    For conversation , let's say 5 %.

That means that this 5% expects the rest of us [95%] to bend over backwards to accept & accomodate them ... I refuse too.

I wish them no harm, and would certainly never even think of harming anyone .. who is not trying to harm me but ..... This crap has become ridiculous .

I think it's only a fraction of that 5% who is acting out. The rest just want too live their lives.

Well, John, whatever percentage is "acting out", they are doing it a whole lot! Enough to where people can't wait until Pride Month ends.

I hear that lesbians are now to be called non-men who prefer the company of other non-men. I picture a group of people thinking this stuff up while drunk on wine and placing bets on whether they'll be able to get people to actually go along with it.

Oh, yeah. You better believe there 's a group of people who think up the most irrational stuff to separate us from reality.

I love how easily Shapiro handles these people. He never seems to lose his cool.

I don't like Pride Month, but I did, years ago, work for a lesbian couple who were very nice to me. But, taking care of their equestrian center only lasted a couple of weeks.
We've lived in the same apartment complex as a lesbian couple, but didn't talk to them much. Funny thing is, we've never seen a gay (men) couple at any complex we've lived in.

I've worked for at least one man who was gay. He made no secret of it, nor did he wear it on his sleeve. I've spoken of the company Christmas party he hosted at his home, where he lived with his boyfriend. (Neither one was a very good dancer.) No one minded. Jim was just Jim, who happened to be gay. A few folks had issues with it, but the vast majority of us did not. And this was over 40 years ago when the DC area was still relatively conservative.

The radical fringe gay contingent no more represents all gays than hyper-macho men represent all males. Thank goodness we don't have Machismo Month...it might make us hate all straight men.

    Only 15 shopping days left...

They call that insanity on the White House lawn, at our expense, a celebration of pride? Here is what a pride gathering on a lawn looks like. Look and learn fools! The world is laughing at the USA.

I posted this in the Rant thread. It is cobbled together from a couple of different sources, so I apologize if I've omitted somebody's day. There is no central authority on this stuff.

Including June, they have month-long observances for 5 out of 12 months of the year. In addition, there are (5) week-long events and (32) single-day observances.

To answer your specific question, Ron, November is Transgender Awareness Month. This is the month when handsome women worldwide get misidentified.
