I do think the Democrats will dump Biden before 2024 if he doesn’t trip over a sandbag and break his own neck. I think they are grooming Gavin Newsom to step in.

Kennedy is an interesting character and has a lot of flaky ideas. He does seem to be honest in saying what he actually believes even though some of it isn’t anything I believe.

If Trump actually gets the nomination I’m afraid he will choose Nikki Haley. I would prefer Tim Scott.

Has anyone paid any attention to Vivek Ramaswamy? I don’t think he has a chance at VP but it seems that everything he says is very conservative.

Fears of another stolen election are very valid, IMO, also fears of an attempt on Trump’s life if he somehow manages to stay out of prison.

And I may be the only one but I still like Ron DeSantis for most anything or everything.

I like Vivek Ramaswamy, and could vote for him if I had to, but I don't expect him to be on the ballot.

I actually like what I have heard him saying, and I do think that he has a chance of making it on the ticket and getting votes. We have a lot of Hindi people here now, and probably all of the people with any kind of an Eastern background would support him, maybe even the Muslims.

I like DeSantis as governor of Florida, and think he should stay there.

For those of you that are completely fed up with polls, you might enjoy peeking at this site now and then. It is a betting site, not a poll, but it has had a better track record than polls. Here’s a chart of the betting odds, over time, for who will win the election for POTUS.

Kennedy was no where to be seen a month ago. He has been rising slowly and steadily, still a long way to go but interesting I thought given all the others being considered.

I agree! If he appears to be winning, they will assassinate him because that is all they have left. If he gets in office and has good folks working with him, he will take them all down, Clintons, Obama, Biden, and a host of Democrat congress and senators that have committed treason against the American public.

It would be nice to have a Conservative in the Oval Office who likes to work for the American people but sadly, if the Republicans can’t hold the House and the Senate remains as it is, with the exception of having the ability to institute Executive Orders, it won’t matter who gets the nod.

That said, the VP, should he or she be a Conservative, has a greater responsibility especially if the Senate remains Dem this time around. S/He will have to be a strong person and able to weather a storm of adverse politics by seasoned politicians.

Short and sweet, we already know that a Trump ticket would rock some worlds but without a really strong Active VP, the catbird seat will be severely hampered.

I'd like to believe that, but I don't. He had the opportunity when last elected and did nothing but "blah, blah" on Twitter. He even had a majority in Congress and still... nothing.

It is wishful thinking on my part, but you are right. No one will ever bring them to justice. They are to powerful. I am still just too sassy to face the hideous music, turn around, bend over and take it in the shorts.

Republicans point out things that need to be done differently. However, given the opportunity to actually take these actions, they focus instead on their reelection campaigns, making the right connections for subsequent employment if they should not be reelected, and accumulating personal wealth. Republicans are a putrid political party, but they are far better than the Democrats. That said, in a first term in which he was under siege to the extent that I have never seen before, President Trump accomplished more of the right things than any other president in my lifetime. Keep in mind that most presidents accomplish more in a second term than in the first.

In spite of the many people who are conspiracy theorists, I still believe that we have among the most honest elections compared to any other country.

Just think of all the safeguards in place. Across the nation, we literally have tens of thousands of people standing by to watch over polling places.

IF the Democrats happen to win the 2024 election, and IF the Republican candidate should claim , once again, that the election was stolen, I just hope that they have PROOF to support that claim and not merely words.

I don't have any horse in this race. All I hope for is NOT another repeat of Jan 6th.

We see things very differently. I think we’re approaching banana republic status. As easy as it is to cheat, I suspect this is just the tip of the iceberg. I will go out and do my civic duty but I really have no confidence in the integrity of our elections at all.
