Bobby Wilkie Burgess and Cissy King. What many people do not know is that Bobby Burgess was the original "Bobby" mouseketeer on the Mickey Mouse Club , boy I used to think he was such a cutie. I guess that had to be some life for this young man, truly the California dream back in those days.

Here is some more useless trivia on Lawrence Welk and the Mouseketeers, there were only two actual Mouseketeers that ever appeared on the show, Bobby and Cubby, however Roberta Shore who was a Disney actress did appear on the show and on several spin off shows that had the Mouseketeers, she however, was never an actual Mouseketeer. Kind of sad, I wonder what she felt about that? I imagine it felt like going to the prom but never actually being asked to the prom.

Since Jenn seems to have won the 'A One & A Two Winner!', here is a new one!

What famous producer had a mustache, but if you worked for him sporting one, you would be fired? And the winner will receive the coveted designation of "Stiff Upper Lip Person!"

Walt Disney? It sounds like one of his idiosyncrasies.

Yay! Am I brilliant or what? Actually, Mickey and Producer with mustache kinda gave it away. I knew Walt Disney had a quirky side, so it all came together. LOL

Awww! He was so much cuter back then. I also loved him as Steamboat Willie!
I wonder if that poor cow is the future Clarabell? :D

@Jenn, did you ever see Stan Freberg's satire on the Lawrence Welk Show?

It's really funny; he impersonates all the male members of the orchestra and the vocalists.

You can find it on YouTube.

I doubt if Jenn will see this since she last posted in 2015.
