Much of our DMV has been privatized. It costs a little, but there are no lines and no arrogant bureaucrats to deal with. Even the driver's tests have been largely turned over to NIT.
I just checked with Dr Berg. I usually like stuff he says. Most of it is right. He does a heck of a lot of research. But with him, sugar and complex carbs are the enemy for everything. So, he says if you have a stye , cut out all sugar and carbs for a few days. White blood vessels attack bacteria but are distracted(? my word, not his) by sugar. They will go after it instead of the bacteria. We used boric acid when we were kids as an eye wash. Not often, but I remember it.
No they have no record other than what we told them. We will give the cardio doctor that info. Yes I do commend him and will tell him, right after I tell him he is too pushy. I might add he does have a reputation here for him pushy and arrogant ways.
That makes me glad that you have found a doctor who knows what he's doing. I gotta think that once he sees that you are knowledgeable and are taking responsibility for your health, the two of you will find a middle ground.
you do know He is a PA.. and since he insists on a cradio doctor I do not see his services being needed unless Mark develops a common cold.
But he helped with the meds... The nephrologist I've started seeing to help diagnose my bladder issues is a real good guy. We B.S. for 5 minutes before we get down to business. He used to be a PCP and somehow got tagged to moving from Minnesota and going into this specialty. He said the hardest part of the transition was to stop looking beyond the patient's kidney issues...that his nature (and experience) was to look at the entire patient, not just some narrow component.
I have worked around many a PA and found very few to be competent in general practice. They simply do not have the training or experience to practice general medicine. The original PAs were ex-military medics who had several years of experience BEFORE getting academic training. Now I have seen PAs with as little as an Associate Degree, although they are rare (thank goodness). PAs in specialties like orthopedics or urology seem to be better. I find Nurse Practitioners to be better, as they generally have more experience prior to getting credentialed, but even they only have about a tenth of the clinical training of a Family Medicine Doctor and have a much less rigorous academic background as well. Turning so much over to mid-level practitioners is one of the reasons American medicine has degraded so much IMHO.
Ok. what is with all of the spam I have been getting the last couple of months. I tried to report it to my server. Crickets. I don't unsubscribe, or answer any. I tried blocking. They were first from the US Then switched to UK. Now from Germany. And what is their gratification? All it may do is clog up my storage.
Do you have the ability to autodelete? If I get repeated spam, or any email I don't want to get, I set up a rule that autodeletes the message. You just have to pick a word or address you NEVER want to get mail from. That is the difficult part.
Just select the ones you know are bogus, then click on "mark as spam" or "move to spam folder" without opening them. Depending on which mail service you use, that should keep them out of your inbox. I use Gmail and it has a pretty good spam filter; I hardly get any in my inbox but the spam folder is always full.
I send them all to my spam folder but have to do it manually because they change their address slightly. Seems like a lot of work for not much for them.
Which email provider do you use? Gmail seems to have an excellent spam filter because I very seldom see any spam in my inbox.
I am saving my gmail account for business mostly. But this may change. I get my regular email through Charter/Spectrum. Has lots of issues.
@Mary Stetler - I have used Gmail for years and as Beth said very good at weeding out spam. But i do now have a yahoo email for all those site s that want email address when your just trying to find out and answer to something. Plus many stores and businesses we all do business with are culprits in adding to spam. Main thing is keeping my actual email open for doctor and other business I do. @Don Alaska @John Brunner - I don't know he is PA or Pr or what his title is and don't care. He is pushy and arrogant and needs to be whacked don a notch other than that he is Ok
