A General Practitioner in Tennessee, Dr. Berry wrote this book (above) about himself, but other doctor's are typically trained the same way he was. Now for 2 decades his practice has helped change people's lives for the better. Great video, and thought maybe some of you would enjoy giving it a listen. More doctors are learning and helping their patients change their health for the better:
Dr. Berry knows what he's saying is truth and works....I will listen to more of the video...I've cut out many many carbs for some yrs and dropped some weight and have the best BP readings ever at 85...
Wow Joy!! It's so good to see someone that actually has experience in this, and willingness to do it! I'm so glad for you, and thanks much for taking a look. I wish more folks would, I am doing so good as well, for 2.5 years now eating low-carb. Big hugs, Denise PS if you want more really good stuff, take a look at this video, or any of Dr. David Unwin of the UK. He's done the same thing Doc Berry did, but he was he more our age. His voice is really comforting, and so very easy to understand as well I just love this man, I'd give a lot to have a doc like him:
I don't trust the medical community. I don't doctor unless I have no other choice. I have never seen a person get better from the giant bag of meds they take. Doctors don't make money from well people, most have no interest in curing, only caring for people. It does have it's uses but not on a regular basis. The transitioning of minor children for profit should tell you that.
my go-to is Dr Berg. Dr Berry started following up with his you tubes and there are many more. During covid, I LOVED Dr John Campbell. Dr Berry is an md. Berg and Campbell are DC's but spent huge quantities of their time doing research on subjects in depth. And presenting research the medical community has.
According to Wikipedia, Campbell is a PhD in Nursing, not an MD or DC. He seems to be a very intelligent man and a thorn in the side of the medical establishment on both sides of the Atlantic via YouTube.
The doctors I recommend are only for nutrition, not prescribing pills. Give a listen to the video if you care to.
You might really like Unwin, he got boo'd when he went to speak different places in the beginning, no one believed low-carb could put diabetes in remission, T2, and help folks that were overweight/obese, you should really hear about his patients!! Especially the one that confronted him, yelled at him when she had lost all here weight doing low carb, and that's when he listened and got on the right track to actually help his patients, really neat guy, like Berry.
There are a few really good documentaries on ROKU that tell the lies from the food industry--confusing the ingredient lists by naming sugar, high fructose corn syrup and other items with different names Look at recommended foods on the diabetes, heart and cancer organization sites. Kentucky Fried Chicken. Pizza Hut, General Mills... any corp that donated huge amounts.
