I am back....... WOW !!!!! What a hell of a snow storm we came back in.. It snowed Tuesday night and kept on snowing all day Wednesday without stopping.. Very high winds made snow drifts and visibility almost nil.. Thursday was just a bit better when we drove home.. The main highway was very well cleared which made travelling home slow but OK.. After all is said and done, the total snow fall was about 50 cms or just under 2 feet of snow.. The blowing snow was something else.. The temperature was not bad at -5c which is acceptable.. Bottom line is we are home safe and sound !!!!! It is still a bit cool with the temperature dropping down to -30c tonight.. They are saying it will be cool like that for another week or so.. Oh well, we are Northerners and tough.. PS... Did I tell you that 2 weeks ago it was sunny and mild, so I took off my snow tires and put on my all seasons.. That means we came back in the storm without proper tires.. Luckily my car has "traction control" which helped me to no end.... GOOD NEWS !!!! My wife had her knee looked at and it is 100% perfect.. The doctor only wants to see her again in 2 years.. Now for back to normal (whatever normal is) where I can get back to those games, but not tonight as I am tired and I am going to sleep..

Thanks Louise.. It is still snowing just a bit however, it is still rather chilly at around the -25c mark at night and up to -8c daytime.. It is supposed to be Spring, but I don't believe them.. It will come ......... eventually ........... maybe ....... Meanwhile with this cold, there are NO bugs............ yet .......
Haha NO BUGS!!, that's about the best thing to have,, Black fly season was the utmost worse thing for me while living in Maine,

Snowing Louise.. We ended up getting 25cms ... I live just on top of Lake Huron, one of the great lakes.. We get winter till the middle of April and then some.. Snow in early May is not unusual.. Today (Monday) it is not snowing, sunny and only 0c out...
My computer man is back with the world.. He called me yesterday (Tuesday) and wants to come by today (Wednesday) to pick up my tower, take it to his shop, and do whatever he does to it and return it in a few days.. Looks like I will be without a computer for a few days.. There again, I will say .................. MAYBE...... As he might just do what he does here while he is here in my house..
Sorry to you guys up north, and the cold/wet conditions. Down in SE Texas we have been warm, then hot, back to warm again, and plenty of rain too .. I'm not complaining at all. Thunderstorms last night were loud, but that's it. Dogs always have a time with those storms. When you get nice weather up north, we will be baking in the heat/humidity.
