Mornin. My prayers are with you Terry, in your time of sorrow. It looks like we may hit a sizzling 80 degrees today and under clear, sunny skies too yet. I'll take that. What I won't take is the insects, especially those little black gnats that get in your face and bite like 'skeeters. Don't like the 'skeeters and flies either. Nor the ticks, poison ivy, oak and sumac. And wasps. My brother stepped on a ground nest of wasps when he was a kid, and got the crap stung out of him. On second thought, I kinda hate seeing winter go. Racing season should be starting soon. My grandsons are ready with a newly rebuilt car. Hope he can keep it upright all this season. It scares the heck outta my daughter when she sees him flip flopping around on the track. So, drive safe out there. If you can't drive safe, drive like you just stole the car.
I have just heard that Jo has died, it's a happy release given the circumstances, thanks again for all your kind thoughts.
I'm so glad you updated, @Terry Page ... I loaded this first to see if you had. I'm so sorry to hear that things are not better for John and Jo. John sounds like an amazing caregiver, and I have a feeling that Jo knows that even though she is not able to express it. I'm also glad that @Chrissy Page has been there for you off-forums. It's rare to have someone like that, and I know it's an awesome feeling to have somewhere to turn in times like this, and someone we trust to listen. ***Edited... I just saw your update. I'm so very sorry for your loss, and for John's.
@Terry Page I'm sorry to hear of her passing, because I know it brings distress to those left behind. I'm glad she is out of her pain and is no longer suffering. I hope the memories of their years together carry her husband through, and I'm sorry it's bringing up your loss. I tend not to post much on these matters, because it seems each loss like this brings up my multiple family losses to cancer. I think we spend way too much money studying unimportant things, while people die and families suffer . Good Morning, Y'all. The sun is shining here, and there's a light breeze blowing through the trees out back. I might have breakfast on the balcony in a bit. Everyone but me is fed, having tea to calm my stomach, and will eat in a bit. Have a peaceful day, y'all.
@Terry Page .im so sorry for this great loss. i know loss brings up other losses. He's so lucky to have your caring support Terry. I know it means so much. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. i love this time of year before the heat kicks in. I used to like going on picnics..I think maybe I'm overdue . Anyone remember family picnics?
We now have a little sunshine on the east coast of Scotland, but about an hour ago, hailstones were falling. Thankfully, this outburst didn't last very long. That's Scottish weather for you.
Oh dear I'm so sorry that John has lost his wife, and you have lost a dear family member in your sister in law Jo....but thank goodness she is no longer suffering...R.I.P Jo...
Good Morning everyone...on this beautiful Sunny Spring morning. Only 7.30am and it's already looking gloriously sunny and although it's not forecast to get very warm , we're driving down to the Beach this morning and praying the traffic isn't too heavy. It's an hours' drive in good traffic, but it's a busy motorway at the best of times and especially when the sun comes out and everyone is heading towards the coast , so we'll keep fingers crossed Have a lovely day everybody...
