Lately I enjoyed some Russian bigwigs: Gogol (Dead Souls and a collection of short stories) and Pushkin (The Queen of Spades) and I wrote a Rant. My Rant. It's half parody, half the real thing. Warning: it's UNCENSORED! If you're curious it's HERE.
One of the guys I worked for was an inventor. He had one or his ideas stolen. One he didn't follow up on and two, he manufactured himself. Just a thought.
Oops, the title was changed. It was something like "Lately I enjoyed ..." followed by the body of the thread: "... Gogol" and so on. So now the thread make sense. Yes, copyright and patent infringement happen all the time: the big businesses with deep pockets have the upper hand. I thought it's better to invest in myself (education + intellectual properties) than in Enron & Co. and go bankrupt along with them. So far my strategy didn't pay off ...
