Hello everyone, I'm Martina. I registered a few weeks ago and apparently my account has been activated meanwhile. Now I'm finally ready to write. I was born in 1971 and am half Austrian as well as half Italian. However, when I was younger I travelled a lot, especially with school, in the summer holidays and during my studies. I travelled, for example, to Ireland and England. Furthermore, I lived in hostels in other countries, and so I got the chance to meet people from all over the world. Australians, Americans, Canadians, and people from Cyprus living in England constitute just a few examples. With some of them, I’m still in contact. My other hobbies include photography, writing, reading, going to concerts, cooking, my plants, and Lego. I look forward to having nice exchanges with you.

Thanks to everyone for the warm and friendly welcome! @Yvonne Smith: I’ve an exciting life professionally, too... By that, I mean that I’ve lots on my plate. My upcoming travels are planned for the summer. However, if I manage to do so, I'll be more than happy to write about it and publish pictures. And thank you for the fact that I can contact you if I’ve any questions about the functions of the forum. @John Brunner: I currently spend the majority of my time in Italy, but when I don’t travel, I stay in Austria during the warmer months. @Marie Mallery: Yes, I’ve seen the notification.
