My Fav American film which I have watched a number of times and a true story too made in the 1990s Casino
I haven't thought of that movie in years. Remember when the network channels would play stuff like that on the weekends? I get all my tv via a rooftop antenna, with channels of classic TV shows and continuous old westerns, but no one plays the old classics.
Right now I can't remember any movie that moved me or impressed me deeply. I can remember a mini-series but not a movie.
Oh my, I've never seen or heard of this movie, but I know I would definitely enjoy it. Thank you, Yvonne Smith for posting this.
Marie, what type of movies do you like? My all time favorites were mostly classic, The Rare Breed, Jimmy Stewart, The Great Waltz, Recent, Courage Courageous, one of the best movies we've seen this year.About the lives of 4 police officers
I bet you liked deja vu with Denzel Washington great flick I've seen it at least three times. If anybody goes and watches this be sure and watch and listen to the credits the theme song is absolutely so romantic by Maisie Gray.
So many... but this one seems less well known and didn't do well at the box office. Soldier (1998) There is an actiony battle scene that goes on too long prior to the ending, but aside from that it's really good. The trailer emphasized that battle, which probably caused its box office woes by targeting the wrong audience. It's actually a deeper film, emotionally jarring despite its limited dialog. A cautionary tale. While the point is controversial there is really no question that it takes place in the Blade Runner universe. Multiple "easter eggs" link back to the first film.
Another Kurt Russell movie was called executive decision that is also an excellent movie I'd forgotten about it until you brought up Kurt Russell's name thanks Jacob I think I'll watch both of these movies soon I hope
I also just watched key largo again with Bogey and Bacall that is such a great flick Edward g Robinson was just raunchy in this one what an actor he is or was
I believe Soylent Green was Robinson's last film. He did a great job in that one too, though a quite different type of character.
Oh Soylent Green Charlton Heston Edward g yeah that was an excellent flick too boy you're bringing back all the memories of movies I loved
