Nobody wanted her 4 or 5 years ago, nobody. I can’t think of any reason anyone would have changed their minds since then.
When the media starts to tell us that others are embracing her presidency, that's enough for a lot of people.
That's what polls are for. -She's very popular, vote for the winner! -Your candidate does not stand a chance, why waste your time voting?
All the MSM is claiming that she was never the border czar. Well, we all know that, but she definitely WAS called the border czar, as many youtube videos and any older articles that haven't been scrubbed can attest.
I am kind of expecting her to be replaced before the actual election. I am not sure who the Democrats will choose, but they are trying so hard to make Harris look good, and it is only marginally working; so I think they are trying to figure out who will have a better chance. Plus, I am sure that there are other hopefuls , even some who did better in the 2020 primary than Kamala, who are hoping that their turn is about to happen. Behind the scenes, it is probably something like a bunch of hungry dogs fighting over a nice juicy bone.
The primaries are where each candidate gets to hone their self-selling skills and practice their stump speeches. By short-circuiting the process, Kamala is not getting the experience she so desperately needs. If she survives the primaries, she's gonna hit the campaign trail like a Toastmasters member giving their first speech. They are setting her up to fail.
I believe Kamala is their candidate and will remain so. I mean, how many times can they swap out their candidate?? Since the same people who run the country now will continue to do so, she is simply another puppet. It's tragic that the "first woman president" will be such a loser, though. Tragic.
Should she win, that would be a sad thing for the country. I have said about Obama that I had hoped the first Black President would be a Jackie Robinson, but instead we got a Flip Wilson in the role of Geraldine. Sad, all of it.
As long as we focus on what people are rather than who they are and what their qualifications are, we're gonna get substandard results. I don't give a damn about "The First Woman President," and neither do most politicians who push this. They stand up the puppet du jour and cynically prostitute their race/sex. I guarantee you that those who scream "Misogynist!" if you don't vote for Hillary or Kamala would never think of casting a vote for Sarah Palin. It makes me angry that the candidates are merely objects that are used to manipulate, and a large chunk of the nation marches in lock-step while the truly tolerant non-sexist/non-racist adults in the room get crapped on. Those who buy into this crap deserve what they get. The rest of us do not.
Good evening to all- Mr. Brunner- You are absolutely and totally correct in this recent post. I try to look at what is known about a particular candidate and see what kind of life this person has led and how this person treats others. Male, female, black, white, mixed- whatever- makes no difference. It's what the person shows in their life that makes me either support them or oppose them. As long as politicians are elected on the basis of "what they look like" and how they sell themselves, we'll get bad results, such as we have seen in some fairly recent elections. I think you are spot-on in this recent post- thank you for it. you all be safe and keep well- Ed
Remember the Nixon/Kennedy debates? -Those who listened on radio said that Nixon won. -Those that watched on TV said that Kennedy won.
