Good evening to all- So it seems that the former occupant has been using- without permission or observing the copywrite laws in any way- the music of artists in his gatherings of minions to cheer him.. This is plain and simple robbery. But there is no reason for anyone to be surprised by this. The former occupant cheats on his wife. He cheats on his business reports. He tries his best to cheat on elections. He cheats, and he lies. He is a thief, and of course, he is a felon. So once again, the truth about the former occupant is obvious to anyone who has the sense to see and understand. He cheats. He lies. He steals. That's what he does. We can do better, folks. you all be safe and keep well- Ed
ROFL! They tried that one in 2016. After weeks of Democrat accusations, it turned out that the "artist" simply didn't want his music associated with Donald Trump, despite the fact that his usage of it had been paid for and was 100% legit. They did that to Ron Paul when he ran in the Republican primary in 2012, and again, the rights to use it had been bought and paid for. Whoever pays for the rights to use it has the right to use it.
Talk about lying. The border czar has never been to the border but... And now she will talk about all they have done and will do. 'They' are still in control of the country. All I have seen that 'they' have done is destroy border security, flooding the country with unvetted, unvacinated illegals--and wars.
Here's a list of 249 proven lies of Biden's: https://thefederalist.com/2022/03/0...e-joe-biden-has-told-as-president-part-three/. And this was as of a September 15, 2023 update of the article. Wonder how many more lies he has told since then. Of course some of them would be repeats.
Politicians are mostly in it for power and kick backs. So they do what they do. Trump is definitely in it for America although he definitely likes attention. He is the only President who came out with less money than he went into to office with, recently. He does not need the money. but not sure if he won't take the salary this time. He deserves it.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mYc08EFcqmQ Trump doesn't lie compared to Harris and her VP. They are just opportunists. I notice she says half truths. She slept her way into politics ( see Willie Brown) and says what will get her what she wants. She recently said she had been to the border but when she was caught and that she hadn't been to the border, she said, well, she hadn't been to Europe either and she didn't understand the point of the interviewer. Pulllleeeez Of course there are her famous word salads which say nothing in a long, round about way.
The only thing that might make it difficult to pin a lie on Kamala is that it's hard to determine what the heck she's talking about. There are times when I think that Biden made more sense than she does. If elected, like Biden, she would be a placeholder for whoever would actually be running the country. She uses words that can be found in an English dictionary, but she strings these words and phrases together randomly. It doesn't seem like she even employs speechwriters who know what they're doing because she doesn't say anything meaningful, even when reading from a teleprompter.
Donald J Trump & Elon Musk go LIVE Monday Aug 12 on Twitter (X) at 8pm ET / 5pm CT Link to Twitter (X) announcement
The quality of those cars is horrid. I saw videos of new owners showing the large gaps in the body seams, yet they still took delivery. But in a sense, the world needs Bleeding Edge people to thresh out the kinks for the rest of us...bless their hearts.
That picture seems a little "manipulated" to me, but if someone accepted that then it's on them. My granddaughter's boyfriend works for Tesla in Austin, as does one of my grandsons. I hope people keep buying for their sakes, but I would never own one. And now back to the Trump 2024 discussion...
Your points ARE in the Trump discussion as he is discussing with Musk. I know of people who actually like EV's and should have the choice. Just not my cup of tea and don't want to be forced to pay for charging stations.
To @Beth Gallagher's point, any prolonged discussion of Teslas should be in a separate thread. I don't know if we already have one but, if so, it would be easy enough to break it off into a separate thread, and, if so, it would be just as easy to add them to the Tesla thread (if there is one). Otherwise, a brief off-topic exchange isn't a problem as long as it's redirected to the topic, as Beth did. On-topic, Trump and Musk are natural allies, I think. While they may not agree on everything, they are both pragmatists rather than Republicans or Democrats. The reality of US politics is that if you want to run for president, you have to pick one of those two parties, but we all know that Trump is not a typical Republican.
