Maybe now that Jake is busy with tractor, he will forgive my 25 cent fan bill.:) If I leave the fan on an extra 2 minutes, we will go broke.. Last time he mentioned it I tossed him a quarter.
Just kidding he deserves his tractor, even if I have to sweat it out.:D

It is Mary, runs great and everything on it works; with low hours on it. It was a great fine. Twenty six years here, and he's delivering it tomorrow at noon. :)

Great to hear that; John, this one he told me, that if you connect one side it roughs the dirt, and connects the other side it smooths it.

I am Beth, thanks for telling me that, it reminded me that I haven't checked my BP all day so I'm going to do that now. :)

Post a pic of it when you have time. Check out this video. They are really versatile.

This is not mine (I got a rusted Craigslist model), but it's the same design:

I suspect yours is a little different for that 23hp tractor, but they all do the same thing.

I've used mine to dig up a fresh spot to put down gravel, and the scarifiers not only turn over the soil, they also rip out roots.

My neighbor's wife was worried because our tires had created ruts in the gravel/dirt right-of-way, and the high center was scraping the bottom of her small car. So I put the 3 center scarifiers all the way down, the outside ones all the way up and knocked down that center ridge. Then I raised all the scarifiers and squeegeed the road out to an even surface. (Actually, I lowered one side before I squeegeed so as to leave a slight ridge for runoff.)

I've only bought one brand new attachment and that was a landscape rake. I wasted my money. The box blade does way better for road maintenance and gravel spreading.

Jake, do you take BP meds every day? That does sound pretty high.

So, Ya got a bottle of champagne to christen it with?
My JD compact tractor has high hours so was very cheap We mostly use it for distributing gravel on the driveway. It came with a deck, a loader and back blade so I figure I could easily get my money back, and then some. With inflation, it is better to have your money in something solid to hold value. Ya done good.

Thanks for replying to me John about this, I will have to look up scarifiers and a couple of these to be sure what they are. But I can use this helpful information to work this tractor and box blade, will post some pics later for sure. This box blade is a 5" one, and real old, solid thick steel, he said it's perfect for this tractor.

I just wanted to post you back quick and will watch that video later too. He will be here in a half hour, so I'm going to go open the gate, and I will be back soon. :)

I have pretty much. Due to stress, but when it's normal, I take off a little. Any dental or Dr appt I have to take it and it always goes to the moon; anyway at that time. White coat syndrome.
