I can think of a few cabals. Or are they all tentacles of a larger entity? Something structured like a cartel?

I may be a little like the new "tradition" in transfer of power. I think George H.W. Bush started it when he got the U.S. into Somalia as he handed the reins to Clinton. I suspect Clinton may have had something to do with 9-11 a few months into George H. Bush's term and Bush left Obama to handle the mess he had made of the Middle East. Obama pulled all the Arab Spring crap just a bit before leaving office and booby-trapped the Executive Branch for Trump when he got there. Biden created most of his own disasters, though, after Trump left him with a fairly peaceful world. Biden is repaying that by getting us into perhaps the biggest war of all--a peer-to-peer nuclear conflict.

After he promised numerous times that he wouldn't. Just shows the honor. Since he said Hunter was one of the finest men he had ever known, it explains a lot about his advisors, cabinet, and staff...as well as his running mate...well, she wasn't a man but maybe she identified as one. I guess he didn't know many MAGA men.

I see that in keeping with his "Worst President in History" ranking, Biden has awarded the Medal of Freedom to George Soros. What the actual hell, people???

ETA--oh how foolish of me. I totally overlooked the actual reason.... "Soros, a mega-Democrat donor, runs a web of non-profits that bankroll various candidates around the world who align with his progressive agenda, including his Open Society Foundations. Soros has given over $32 billion to Open Society Foundations since 1984, according to its website. "

Apparently everything has a price, even the "Presidential Medal of Freedom."

With just days left in his presidency, Biden is also considering making the ban on offshore drilling a permanent ban.

He's also busy banning gas water heaters. So many people to piss off; so little time.

I don't know if he can do that without Congress. In any case, I think Congress could override it, as could the courts should it go there. They always wait until the last week to spring the really bad stuff, so worse is probably yet to come, although Biden himself may not be totally aware of what is being done in his name to secure the title of Worst president in American History. Perhaps they could put that title under his portrait. The MAGA folks now have their own equivalent of George Soros in Elon Musk, the difference being that Musk does everything pretty much in the open while Soros hides his actions behind his puppets.

I know. They are trying to secure their place. There are still a lot of Trump-appointed ones out there, and he will probably get a chance to appoint more if the Senate cooperates.

One bright spot for conservatives is that the old buzzards in the Supreme Court may be more willing to retire while Trump is in office. Which reminds me... I need to study up on how SC justices can be impeached--is that possible? That last DEI moron has got to go.

They can be impeached just as the President. They wanted someone stupider than Sotomayor. Dems have to break those records. I sometimes long for the days of Ginsburg because, although she was as far Left as one can get, she was at least well-qualified for the job and very, very smart. Now if they don't have a penis, aren't White and have a law degree (although I don't think that is required), they are qualified for the Supreme Court if the Dems are in charge.

I just saw one post that asked the question, "How much Chinese money is needed for the Biden Administration to work so hard to sabotage the U.S. deliberately?"

Five individuals of Middle East descent reportedly have been taken into custody by Texas authorities because they were reportedly trying to blow up the Spaceport where the Starship flies from. It looks like once again Texas is doing the job that should be done by the Feds. Thank God for Texas, Governor Abbott, and Texas law enforcement.

Now if they could only figure out how to keep the power on, things would be great. :D

ETA--Abbott is kind of a bad-ass. Many people call him "Hot Wheels" in TX.

The power problems are inherent in how things are organized in Texas. I understand you have moved to a lot of "green" energy and you are not hooked to the coal and gas powered plants around you. I think most of that happened before Abbott, but I could be wrong.
