Good chance of rain tomorrow so I need to get in the woods and save some trees before long.
Jake bathed the little instigator Foxy this morning she screamed like he was killing her. I washed a couple loads of clothes and dog towels.

Yours may not have had, this one does though, files plugs and causes it to blow black smoke; not now though, since I added a new fuel regulator. Cranks faster, burns clean, and runs smoother. I ordered another set of plugs and was going to change these out again, but after I put the regulator on, "adjusted" it, it ran fine. I think the old fashion fuel pump, would be just fine, on this 2.4, 8 plugs, 4 cylinder engine. It's a 1986 Nissan.

    "Good" to have.
The Uni-Syn is fully portable and can fit in just about any toolbox, so it's great for quick checks at the track or on the road. The Uni-Syn makes it quick and easy to synchronize multiple carburetors or fuel.

The fuel regulator really helped the truck; and I charged some batteries today, tractor, golf cart, truck, and still charging boat batteries now, will cut it off in a little bit, until tomorrow. Will crank the boat tomorrow, and let it run for about 30 minutes. Have to paint plywood boards tomorrow for Marie's van; before cutting them, to fit the floor. Used Roomba on the porch again today, that thing helps when you don't have the time, to walk it with a vacuum. Still not so sure about the seedling making it, but was telling Marie today, that I can just plant a raised bed with her some greens, collards, mustard, and tomatoes. Then when it's cold, cover the bed with plastic, we already have PVC pipes bent and ready, to hold the plastic up, just until it warms up, the next day. Works just like a greenhouse does, and only takes a kerosene lamp to keep warm, when freezing at night here. There's more to do, and more already done, but will stop here, on "labor", for now.

Dogs are getting better and better, everyday. Each has their own personalities, and they're getting more used to each other daily, without fighting. Foxy and Getty have fallen in love with each other, and play fight each morning for hours. Since Leo was fixed, he plays more gently with Foxy; he used to hold her down, and scratch her stomach, when she tried to get away. But now he even lays down, and lets her win the fight, just being nicer to her now. So far Maisey and Getty had one bad fight, and Leo and Getty once, Getty didn't fight back like she did Maisey. I think the "reason", is she knows Foxy and Leo were already here, when she came . Not sure but she can fight; if she wanted too, she's very strong and protective, especially of, Marie and Foxy; "for sure". :)

Pulled a big old tree limb today, from where I have one leaning off a tree, and had my front wheels coming up, the whole time. Got some more interior paint today for the van, to paint plywood boards for the van floor. Rained today; so will paint plywood tomorrow. Will have to cut the leaning tree, to get it down, and be able to pull to the field. I tried to tie it, and wanted to pull it away from the tree; but it was too "big", to move. Will have to make a cut on it with a chain saw, then pull to the field.
The tree limb that I did pull, was so big, it left trenches in the trail; so I had to go back with the box blade, and smooth the dirt out.

You need to find a way to put some more weight on that front end before you say "I wish I had..." I gotta think you can fashion a shelf or a bracket around that existing weight (do you weld?) You must have some rotors and maybe concrete (or an engine block) around you can throw on it. We don't want you on your back looking up saying "...and that one looks like an elephant..."

Regarding box blades: them babies are magic, aren't they? I forget where I first encountered them, but I've only had mine for a few years. When I started watching videos on how to use them, everyone said it was the #1 attachment you should get. They are right. The only brand new attachment I've bought is a rake, and I'm angry I spent the money. The used box blade I bought is better at the jobs I got the new rake for.

The reason we went to town today is because we had went and bought feed for animals a few weeks ago;and I got some cedar shaving for dog houses. Well I told her I wanted five bail of cedar, and she charged me for five and they gave me two. So after looking at the receipt i thought something wasn't right, they had only given me two. So I went back in and told her, and she said; we only have two. I thought about it, why are you charging for five; she said she could fix it by crediting it back to the card. Well she charged me $177.53 more, for what she had already over charged me for.

I got home and called the bank after a few days, and she had "done", just that; charged my account over twice the amount. So the bank said they were crediting it back to me, and filing a claim against them for the money, and it did show they did on my account. She told me to be sure and check, to be sure it stays, credited to my account. Got a bank statement, and sure enough they had charged $125.64 + 177.53 to my account.Today I got a statement in mail saying, they need a fax of receipts, where I had bought stuff, and if I didn't do it, they will reverse where they had refunded my money to me by 1-11-2025 . Well I called bank and talked to them about how this is getting stupid, where I'm ripped off; and have to do all this to get my money back.

Anyway I went to town and faxed a copy of receipts to the bank, and now we will see what happens, next. "Crazy", when you're ripped off; and have to work, and spend more money, to get what is already yours.

Right on about box blades, "John", they're magic, for sure; 'Love em", myself. Yeah, I weld, and have a welder, I've just been pulling a little more weight; than I should, from this Helene damage, than it can, "almost handle". I've been careful not to, rev it too much, where it would flip over to the roll bar. If I keep having to move this heavy weight, I will add weights to the front. Right now my plan, is to use chain saw, and cut trees smaller so they're not such a task to move.

So instead of issuing a credit of $125.64 they actually charged you that amount again??? I think I'm in the wrong business.

No she charged me another $177.53 and the 125.64, told me she was refunding the over charged, for 3 bails of cedar. When I first saw it I called the bank and they supposed to stopped it, and she said for me to keep a watch on it; to make sure that it didn't go back on, and when I got statement, I was still charged twice. I called feed store and told them what they had done, but she acted like I was in the wrong; I did tell her that's bad business, over charging like that; she said I will have a talk with her, about it.

Bought another gallon of white interior paint yesterday; while faxing receipts, to the bank, for Marie's van floor. Waiting on it to warm up some, so I can start painting plywood, for the floor. It will make the wood floor last longer, and she said she wants linoleum floor.

Maybe something like this, don't want to show the dirt, so much. Not sure which kind. :)

Got the first plywood painted, on "one side", so far, taking a quick break, eating cheeseburger with french fries. Then I will flip it, and paint the other side. Really soaks up the paint; but worth the longevity it gives the board, in the long run. Gonna paint 2x4's too that's going under the floor. "Marie's", bathing; keeps saying; don't be running no water :D, "I won't".

Can't believe they're saying Feb 5, on van bushings, now. The way it goes, I guess. Marie just said are you running the water? "No", I said again. Spouses, keep us on our toes, "don't they". Can't live without them. :)

Thats Marie and Jakes van,;) It is what we use 99% of the time. Jake has done a great job keeping the old van going.
Jake is redoing floor because now that we have 4 large dogs [ Maisie is tall as me when she stands on her hind legs} we take with us boating, to the beach we need to put a floor we can clean and sterilize.
