Which only goes to show that they didn't send us their best and brightest.

I'm sure, but for her basically admit it, by refusing to let them back in.

We give Honduras well over a million dollars in aid every year, just like we do many of the other Central American countries, so they are not going to want to stop us from sending that money to them.
President Trump has said if these countries in central and South America. Do not take their people back, we will cut off all financial aid, and they will back down , just like Mexico did.

Once he is in office, he will stop the free food and money handouts, many of the illegals will take themselves back home to wherever they came from, ICE will be rounding up the criminal gangs and shedding them back.
Those countries are going to have to put them back in their own prisons that they turned the loose from in the first place.

And when those criminals do come back, the people there will probably be grateful for the American military bases in their countries, if the criminals are running loose .

Jacob it is a mess, surely, they know that unlike us China will clean their clock.
Of course I read China now owns land near our military bases. We never should have allowed any foreign nations to own land inside our nation, although many do.
Our neighbor lived in Mexico on the beach but left because if you're not from Mexico you can't own land there, only lease or rent. Or that is what they told us.

Mexico has a restricted zone—called the Zona Restringida—that occupies a band within 50 kilometers (31 miles) of the coast or 100 kilometers of an international land border. Since the early 20th century, non-citizens have not been able to hold property in their own name within this zone.

But in order to encourage foreign investment, the government created a workaround in 1973, formalized in its current version in 1993. In short, it authorized the use of a trust to purchase property within the restricted-zone. This trust is called a fideicomiso (fee-dey-com-EES-oh) and it’s similar to a Land Trust in the United States.

Well maybe some places you can,

Money seems to be an amazing lubricant.

I saw that the certification of the election without objection is the first time a Republican has been elected to the Presidency without the Democrats objecting to the vote since 1988. The objections are only news when the Republicans do it.

I'm heard weird stuff about terrible things coming just before or on Inauguration Day. Some suggesting Trump will not make it into the Whitehouse alive.

It was a class act compared to January6, 2001, no assault on the U.S. Capitol, no vandalism, no thefts, no attacks on Law Enforcement, no lies.

My goodness, I sure hope not, if so, we can forget about what's left of this nation, its laws and culture. This could also start another big divide or even civil unrest if not war.

I have to say, I am quickly losing my euphoria over Trump's victory (though I am still relieved that the laughing hyena did not win.) I want to know what he thinks he is accomplishing with the ridiculous comments about making Canada a state, taking over Greenland, military force to retake the Panama Canal, etc. I can understand that saying that stuff once might be a joke, but he keeps hammering these stupid statements like they are his actual agenda. This bothers me. A LOT.

Canadians do NOT want to be part of the USA and why would they? The more Trump says this crap, the madder the Canadians get. Do we seriously need this right now? Isn't there enough division in the world already? WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS?

I was so looking forward to seeing something positive come from this second term, but it's looking more and more like a replay of the stupid childish games and braggadocio of his first term. Good God.

I think it is a smoke screen to take attention off the other things he is doing that they oppose. The Bideneers are hard at work destroying anything they can before he takes office. Trump is smart enough to know how to distract the medias attention from the serious changes he will make.

If the U.S. decided to take Greenland by force, there is not a thing France or any other European nation could do about it. It would be the end of NATO though. If you recall, NATO wanted to bomb Libya when Khadafy was still in power. They decided they were unable to fly across the Mediterranean Sea from Italy without U.S. help, as they have no search and rescue, no aerial refuelers (which they wouldn't need to fly form Italy, but perhaps Germany would). Obama didn't want to be part of the attack, but ended up relenting since there was so much pressure from the whiners in Europe.

I don't think force will be needed though. A recent survey showed that Greenlanders no longer wanted to be controlled by Denmark since the greenie Danes won't allow the Greenlanders to develop the island in any way. (I guess the look at it as their own version of Alaska). I read that Denmark has agreed to an independence referendum later this year. Greenland is probably too small to exist on its own in the current environment, so they will at least have to allow U.S. (and Canadian if they restore their military) bases there to prevent being taken by China or Russia.
