Shatner was on a few of those. I think he was also on a Hitchcock episode or two.

I wish someone would run legacy Outer Limits episodes. Some of those were pretty good.

Actually, the old Outer Limits episodes are available on Pluto TV, MGM+ and through Comcast cable. I can see them.

I remember the old Outer Limits used to scare the crap out of me as a kid.

Things are messed up, and when I went to the store to get it fixed, the woman asked what my business is. She could not help me. Verizon's *611 says I gotta go in to the store and have the store call them with me there, because neither of them can untangle the mess on their own.

So basically I had gone in to see if I could upgrade my internet service, and I walked out with a new phone, a new watch, business internet, and a D&B Number!!! Oh, I also walked out with my new phone AND my old phone because the new phone had not got service yet and there was a line behind me. "Call me later and we'll finish it over the phone, then bring your old phone in for credit within 30 days." After getting blown off over the phone TWICE when I called him, I went in the next day and talked to a different guy. "I've told him to not do that." My response: "He obviously does not listen to you."

Lots of stuff messed up with my Verizon VISA reward points that are lost forever ($38+ more pending) because my personal account was replaced with a business account before I even walked out the door (even though the guy asked why I did not use my Verizon VISA for the transaction so I could get the reward points.) No one knows if he canceled my old MyFi internet units or if I'll continue to get billed, because my personal account has been zapped and no one can find it (but we all know it will still churn out invoices.) The MyFis are still on line.

It would be much easier if the *611 folks spoke clearer English. Don't ask me about my ever-changing-and-never-correct Account PIN.

Ugh. That story gives me anxiety just hearing it. I don't know why the simplest things get so freakin' complicated these days. This is one reason we just stay with Comcast. Just can't deal with more half-assery.

It's my fault for not cleaning out a space for my electric company's fiber internet.

My life has been pretty hum-drum since the frenzy of the holidays. My husband has been sick for almost a week and more of a couch potato than usual. He has a bad cough that is worrisome. Our son told him yesterday that almost all of the kids, grandkids and my SIL/BIL that were here on Christmas Eve have been sick, so I guess one of them brought that "gift". I don't know how I have managed to not have it but I hope I can keep from it.

Seed catalogs have begun arriving so I will be deciding on what to put in my raised beds this spring. I am keeping my "garden" to the 3 metal raised beds and the tall wooden bed, so not a lot of stuff this year. I'm sure it will be my usual; mostly cucumbers and tomatoes. I have good luck with those and I always love to make pickles. Maybe a few bush beans.

@John Brunner 's recent acquisition of a pressure canner has me thinking about buying a small one, too. Of course that's the last thing I need but when have I ever been sensible? If I end up growing a few bush beans I might need to can them!! o_O

I am having an episode of those awful body cramps for some reason. I had several months of peace from those but they are back with a vengeance. It's always something.

Sorry to hear about your hubby's illness, but the cramps still concern me. When you had them last did not the oncology people have some solution?

Thanks, Don. Nope; neither my oncologist nor my PCP could figure out any reason for the cramps. I had all the blood work, etc. and nothing. I did find from reading on a Facebook IBC group that the cramping is VERY common in inflammatory BC survivors; probably a by-product of the treatment. I know we all received a very harsh dose of radiation. No one in that group has had any luck with finding a cause or a cure for the cramping, either.

I had an episode of those horrid cramps before Christmas. It has been over 8 years for me. It put me in the ER and scans were run and still in remission. None of the docs had a clue what caused it.

So you are a cancer survivor? Sorry to hear you had to deal with that.
