Mama Liked Mathis and had one of his albums, one of her favorites was Chances Are, mine too although at 14 I didn't appreciate him as much.

Funny how when we are young the parent's music is not appreciated till we grow older. Now I love most of the songs I heard mama play and sing.
My mother was a night club performer singer pianist before she got married. She could really put on a show for us kids. I liked her doing ' My Sister Kate as she shimmied while she pumped the pedals and hit the keys.
