Somewhere on one of these threads, you wrote about a survey program called Instant Cash Sweepstakes, @Diane Lane , and gave us your link.
I signed up through the link, but even when they give me my few pennies of reward for doing the survey, it never shows you as receiving the matching payout, which is how it is supposed to work.
I don't know if you can get that straightened out with them, or maybe it shows on your dashboard and not on mine ?
Anyway, I can't find the thread about that program, but I did use your referral link when i signed up, so it should have worked for you to get matching payouts.

That was a strange one, yes. Fortunately, you only have to reply to the ones you want to reply to. Although I am very concerned with my right to privacy, I am not so concerned about my actual privacy, so I answered them. There were two 500-point polls, and two 250-point polls in a row, so I was happy to have completed them.

I am always looking for extra ways to make money. I would like to find something that would bring in an extra $100 or more. Hopefully, the web site you mentioned might make this a reality.

Hello everyone, I have to say that some of these sites do take along time to earn a dollars, this is what I have being doing the last couple of days, (that's reason I have not been here). I spend almost 6 hours to make $4.00, and the survives do take a lot of time. Some that I have taken, after a couple of question I don't qualify for it, so I'm send to another survey, and it happen again. after a couple I get reward a couple of pennies. I also would like to find something that pays more than these survives. Other types of work at home are either a scam or you have to pay a starting fee. I see on the posts other sites that I've never seen before, will go try them. By any chance do they have a referral, this would also be a great way of earning something.

Thanks for posting those links. I know about most of them but some are new. I think I was on Yougov a number of years ago, but never got enough to get a gift card so I quit. It might be worth revisiting the site though because I know other people who like it. Maybe my points from years ago are still on there. That would be nice!

@ Mari North I am really glad you mentioned that Mari,, because when I went back to check the YouGov site, I found I was more than half way toward a 25 dollar gift card, so yes, I will be participating! The surveys that were up for me, were all from 2011, I guess the last time I was on the site, but I am sure they will send more...as they are able. Do you only get points from surveys or do the polls give you points as well?

@Ken Anderson I definitely could have used that many points, but I'm not comfortable giving that much information. I'd never seen one like that from them, and it bothered me. I've got a few emails from them about surveys, so I'll check back to see if they have something else I can do. I wondered if all of their surveys were going to be like that now.

@Yvonne Smith I remember you saying you had signed up under me, and I was just on there, but I didn't think to check. I figured they'd get around to it, but if it's not on my dashboard I'll check, thanks for the reminder. I still like it, but I haven't won anything other than the few cents in a while. I also still do their sister site, PaidViewpoint, and have cashed out about 3 times through them.

:) I'm glad your points were still there, @K E Gordon . I had left for quite a while, too, and found my points intact, so I'm going for a card, too... It's kind of weird, though... I could get a $25 CVS card for 30,000 points... but to get Amazon, I have to have 35,000 and it's only $15... doesn't seem quite fair and Amazon doesn't charge fees for them or anything, so no reason for that to happen! I wouldn't get real thrilled about CVS so not sure what I'll end up doing. Oh, I already have enough for the first prize, a t-shirt but.... no way! Put much too much time in it for a t-shirt! :D

As far as I know, polls don't give points... just the surveys. If anyone knows differently, I hope they'll tell us, but that's what I've noticed.

@Yvonne Smith Yvonne, I haven't seen anywhere on that site where your name is mentioned in conjunction with my account, so I sent them an email inquiring about the situation. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks again for signing up under me!

I checked back at YouGov yesterday, and now it's saying they don't have any full length surveys for me, so I guess the time period has passed for the one I felt was intrusive, which is good. Hopefully the next one won't require as much personal information. I started doing a few searches again on Bing, and when things slow down, hopefully I can accumulate more points on there. I haven't cashed out with them yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so.

If anyone knows of a good paying, stable transcription site for working tasks (I'm not looking for anything full time or with set hours, because my health won't permit that), I'd love to hear about it.

Has anyone on here ever used MTurk from Amazon ? I signed up there a couple of years ago; but it was confusing to me, and I have actually never done anything with it. I was thinking that i should go back and look at it again and see if I can understand how it works better this time.
They have all kinds of things that a person can do there, and different amounts of money you can earn; plus it is from Amazon, so it should be worth using once I get the gist of how it works.

I have heard it's a confusing system over at Amazon MTurk and they also require tax information up front, rather than after you've earned enough to decide whether or not the site's going to work for you. I give that information out as a last resort, and since it doesn't sound as if the site would work well for me, I haven't bothered. I had signed up with a few of the other ones that pay per small increment of work, but they also seem very convoluted, so I didn't proceed with those, either.

It seems like a few people here are on that site.I am just wondering if the gift cards come promptly. The movie one would be a lot of fun to have. The Walgreens one would be more practical. but I need some fun in my life!

Most surveys give you instant gift cards for rewards; but you.gov mails them out. I have only earned one thus far, and it took about two weeks for it to come in the mail.
I usually let my points build up on the survey site until I need to use a gift gard to order something from Amazon and then cash it out.
Since I had to wait so long for the you.gov card, that was not a practical way of doing it. When I get to the points enough for another card from there, i will go ahead and order the card and then just save it after it gets here, until I need to use it for something.
I have never thought of getting anything besides an Amazon card; but probably the others would take about the same amount of time for you to receive one.

I hope someone can answer this for you... but I can't because I'm still working on my first 30k after being away from it for quite a long time. I know that at other places, Amazon codes sometimes come immediately, but the physical cards from other places usually take at least a couple of weeks.

Hmmm...I get a lot of Amazon codes now, from various consumer sites. Amazon is useful...but it would be really fun to have a movie gift card. I think I will go for that if it is available, However I only have 18,000 points so it is going to take me a while longer to get there. .I know one survey site I was on, I was supposed to get a Starbucks card, and it never came! Naturally, I brought it to their attention, but it was not rectified. That was a bit of a bummer, however, most sites are pretty reliable.
