For actual copper cookware (or mostly copper), see Falk USA.

However, you'll be paying more than $100 for a saucepan.

Yeah, the Copper Chef and similar cookware isn't copper--I don't even know if there is copper in it--but it is copper colored. I find the surface to be non-stick (if seasoned), but I don't use metal utensils in it or put it into the dishwasher, as I have some other, more expensive, ceramic-coated cookware that didn't fare well when treated harshly, even though it was claimed to be metal utensil safe and dishwasher safe. I found those clams to be untrue.

I've yet to try Copper Chef. One of my friends bought her son a few pieces for Christmas and he loves it.

We have an electric frying pan that Robin gave us as a gift, and I think that it is Copper Chef, or at least something similar. It is ceramic coated but copper colored, and absolutely nothing sticks to that pan.
Once I discovered that the reason was the ceramic and not that it was actually copper, I ordered a set of ceramic pans from Amazon, and they are the best cookware that I have ever used.
We still have our old set of heavy pans, and Bobby likes those, but they are a lot heavier than the ceramic ones, and I really like how easily the ceramic pans clean up.

I don't cook enough to be picky about what I cook in. As long as everything matches and is shiny, I'm good. I DO like glass lids though.

My wife doesn't use her copper set. The one we have is not high end but did come with a basket with handles. The basket gets the most use because it works great for bbq'ing cubed par boiled potatoes and cut up veggies. Never trusted pork or chicken being fully cooked on shish ka bob skewers. Toss that protein in the basket seasoned and cubed no worries now

It is a shame that they have misleading information to sell their pots and pans. I remember as a child on the farm we had a large copper container about 5 gallons on the wood stove to heat shower water and wash water for the family.
I said before just how important copper is for the body. Your body needs copper to make elastin that is the stretchy stuff in your body. Your lungs could not work without it your arteries could not expand and return to normal without it. This is the elastic that returns everything to normal. It is needed in joints pagination of the skin and hair. If you are getting gray or white hair you might have a copper deficiency.
