I am a freelance writer, and I write paid articles for companies and individuals in my spare time.
It's fun to do because writing is a big passion of mine, so it's nothing tough for me to do,
and it actually relaxes me in some way too, and + I get money for it.
In the past I used to complete Crowdflower tasks, and earn for doing them too,
but the money I earned there was way less, than I earn nowadays for writing.

Have you folks got any online money making methods?

I would love to be a writer but I don't think I qualify because I don't enjoy writing long articles. Perhaps I have a short attention span such that I get a headache when I am writing more than one page of article. As I had posted in other threads, I joined forums to enhance my communication skills in written English as a requirement of my job.

My planned blog is the only writing job I dream of. And from my research, it can earn me good money especially when my blog gets a lot of readers. So I am positioning myself now in that direction.

I try to live by the motto, don't put all your eggs in one basket. So, I try to do various types of jobs online. I do article writing on one website. I have two websites where I do microjobs, and I have another website where I do some writing as well. So, I try to rotate thest to earn money. I have learn the hard way that working one job online isn't a good idea, jobs come and go out here along with websites. So, its always a good idea to spread the work out.

I work a full time job at a brick and mortar retail store. As such, I don't have a lot of spare time. Still, I enjoy doing some work online for needed extra money or GC's. My favorites are the paid to post sites, because for me, they're effortless. I also enjoy a couple of microjob sites. That's about it, but I am open to new sites as they arrive.

I have some knowledge due to blogs, maintaining a blog can earn you some money, but with a period of time when you work hard.
Traffic is the most important and on the second place is the overall look of the blog. It's also not so easy to get accepted to Google Adsense Partnership, they got really strict lately with who they accept.

That's very true, I see some people joining only one website and on the start they expect to be paid a lot for their "work". While it doesn't work like that, 1. first you need to put hard work in what you do, and dedicate time, often you need to join multiply websites, to get that desired pay for your very hard work.

You should try PerkTV out, it's an app you download for your smartphone, and you can earn money by just watching trailers, actually you can do it while being at work, because you can leave your mobile, turn of the voice, and just let it play, while doing that you will earn cash. If you watch a lot of trailers I've heard that you can earn about 2-3$ dollars daily, for actually no work, which is quite good? If you're from the Us, or Canada you will be able to download the app from Google Play, because it's not international./

Oh, that's sad news for me because I am only starting with blogging and I didn't know that Google Adsense is now strict in accepting accounts. I'm actually hesitating a bit in launching my blog due to the regular updating as my responsibility. It's a shame if I would have regular readers and my updates wouldn't be on a regular basis. And now that strict Adsense definitely dampened my spirits. Maybe I have to research more on Adsense.

Thanks Helene. I don't use a smart phone at present, just a cheapie Tracphone, but I am intrigued by PerkTV, and other programs I've been hearing about for smartphones. I think signing up, and downloading some apps might pay for the phone, and the plan! Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, I don't think that it should be so tough if you're convincing, and if you're blog is going to be well built and with fair content.
If Google Adsense doesn't accept you in there's also Ebay or Amazon. You can request for partnership with them.

Have you ever thought of investing in one? They aren't that expensive, I have an Alcatel Smartphone and I didn't pay more than 100$ dollars for it.
No problem, if you did find it helpful it's a pleasure. :)

This is the first time I have heard of Amazon and Ebay partnership. Maybe I have to research on that. One problem causing the delay of my blog is the nitty gritty regarding the technical and also that earnings part. They say that it is a waste if the blog is not enrolled in Adsense and what if it gets viral. Another concern is the difficulty of updating since I am not well versed with technical matters like Wordpress or Blogger. My only recourse are the tutors in my midst who I suppose would support me all the way... even if my blog would not get a good number of views and comments.

Amazon has an Associate program and eBay has an affiliate program. With both of them you need to pick products that are associated with what you write about on your blog and each time someone makes a purchase through your affiliate link you receive a small percentage of the selling price.

You don't need a lot of technical knowledge to use Blogger or Wordpress but you do need to know how to add appropriate tags with keywords that will get your content correctly indexed by search engines. The more visitors you can get from search engines and social media, the more chance you have of earning money from affiliate sales or AdSense.

There are other affiliate networks you could join, such as Clicksense, and other ad programs that can be used in place of AdSense.

With the 4th quarter around the corner which is the largest selling season of the year now is the time start working with the affiliate programs if you are interested in doing that type of work.

I have a couple of online shops that I make a little money on, but it seems to be an uphill climb. I also do the paid to post type jobs that @Brittany Houser mentioned, as well as website testing, ejury participating, focus groups, product trials, and Ebates. I also use the Walmart Savings Catcher app, and have gotten about $50 back with that so far this year. I've made just under $14 with Ebates, of which $10 was a freebie for signing up, and the rest was for purchases I've made, since I use it when I do my grocery shopping online at Walmart. I had stopped ordering the groceries online at Walmart, so the $3.45 was made in a short period of time.
