You always spread sunshine, @Patsy Faye :). Hope you're having a great day.

Good Morning, Y'all. It was one of those wake up in the middle of the night for medication nights, but sometimes that means a better next day, and I'm hoping that's the case today. I also just sat down with a cup of yummy coffee, and everyone's fed, so yay, now I can relax for a few minutes. It's going to be another hot one. I had the thermostat on 77 this morning, and brrr, it was cold downstairs. I think I'm becoming less heat and cold tolerant as I age. Brrr. I have a sweater on now, but the coffee should warm me up. Hope everyone's having a nice day & week.

Good day all. It is another scorcher her in Texas. Good news is that a relative sent me money which was quite welcomed and a thoughtful thing to do. Money makes life so much better.

Mornin'. Another 'overslept' morning for me. Oh well, i'll just rearrange my schedule. There. All done. I have no schedule, so it was easy.
Gonna be hot again. Not as hot as yesterday, but still hot. Anyone who has to work outdoors, prepare yourselves. These days, I'm so happy all that's behind me, even though I wish I was young again.
Kinda looks like Trump is having a melt down. Hope not. but....
As corrupt as our whole government has become, if Trump did win the election, I would wager he would never serve out his first term.
I gotta watch my diet better. Gained about 3 Lbs. Didn't eat much yesterday. Guess I need to move around more.
Remember, liberals hate happy people. So, y'all be happy.:)

Good morning, we woke up with our new alarm clock radio this morning. It's been 3 days since we replaced the old Timex one that had 20 tiny buttons all over it. The volume on the old alarm just quit. This new one is the most amazing clock radio alarm, that I have ever seen! It is an Emerson Smart Set ($29 at Staples). You just plug it in and it sets itself, both time, date and day of week. The default time zone is Eastern, but it can be easily set to another. After an outage, the time resets itself, as well as when seasonal time changes roll around.

It has jumbo numbers in cool blue. The radio is AM-FM Digital, and will search and stop on each station, to be saved. EVERY station comes in loud and clear. It is amazing. It doesn't have Nature sounds like the old one, but, hey....we can open a window! Have a grand day!

Good Morning. Saw one of these and since I just got an iPhone, thought it would be pretty cool to get.

Then it dawn on me I might not have much use for one of those now.
But if the old one gives up the ghost, might sneak it into the house.

Good Morning Everyone, I hope you have a great day! :) I don't have much to say this morning, not really in the mood, but I hope everyone gets the things done they want to do, see the people they want to see, and enjoys the day.

I have an alarm clock radio that charges an ipod Tim. I am trying to sell it though because A. I don't use an alarm clock, much and B, it has lights on the side that make it too bright in the room, when I am trying to sleep. I don't even listen to the ipod now anyway. I have Spotify on Kindle.

Good morning everyone! Today is the day the they are coming to fix the holes in the vents on my roof.

I'm dreading the days following worrying about how bad it's gonna smell in this heat when trapped rats are going to start dying.

I've never experienced anything like this so don't know what to expect. If the outside temp is 104, I can on,y imagine what my roof is!

Hope you're in a better mood later @K E Gordon.

I am glad that they are coming to take care of the rat problem, @Chrissy Page ! I think that you better make a trip to the store and stock up on several kinds of room air spray. One that works really good is called "Odoban", and it will help actually get rid of the smell, and not just mask over it.
Hopefully, they will try to scare all of the rats out before they close everything up ; but the liklihood is that at least a few of them will hide out in the attic area somewhere, and die.
It will smell worse because of the heat; but that will also help the dead rat to dry up and stop smelling faster. You will still need something for several days to a week most likely; and if by chance you have one of those attic house fans, turning that on will help clear the smell out faster, too.
This might be a great time to go and spend the week at your daughter's house !

Good Morning, y'all. It was another waking up early for meds day. I baked myself in the car yesterday. It was 105 outside, and probably 130 inside of it, even with the windows open. On the plus side, I withstood it so I could pick up some groceries AND some freon. If I get the energy and my hands cooperate, I'll put that in the car later, so my next drive will be much more pleasant. It looks as if we might have a stormy next few days, but the sun's shining now. It's a coffee day here, so perhaps I'll accomplish something today :D. Have a nice one!

@Yvonne Smith , I'll look for that odoban spray. If I have a fan in the attic, I don't know about it. I've never been up there. There is a switch next to my kitchen light switch doesn't seem to turn anything on, maybe that's it. Looked up the spray, I'll have to go to Home Depot for it, one of my least favorite places. :(

I'll ask the rat people if they see a fan up there.

Going to my daughter's is a last resort. They have plans for the whole weekend that involve something going on at the Pebble Beach Golf Club, some kind of Gala some Rich Texan they met holds every year.

Last year it was in Texas and this man paid for everything for my daughter and her husband. Forget this guys name and what he does except that he plays golf.

Plus I hope the rat people come back in a few days to check the traps and I have to be here for that.

Good morning friends! Slept in late and had a sausage, egg, and cheeses sandwhich for breakfast. Why do those 3 things taste so good together?
