Thanks everyone. So kind of you. Here on Vancouver Island there is so much to see, and it is so green. Perhaps, we will head to Victoria and check out the world famous Butchart Gardens. We can go wild blackberry picking, and visit the raptor rehab centre situated near here. A friend of mine has a houseboat nearby, named The Tickled Pink, we are invited to a barbecued salmon cookout, and musical evening. We can go swimming, or scuba diving.
Wow, that all sounds fabulous, get lots of pics to share!! I love Butchart Gardens, got to finally see them a few years back.
@Chrissy Page & @Denise Happyfeet, you are both single ladies, and I'm told looking is still free. Just no touchy ! Although, dogs are less hassle, aren't as expensive, and you get to be the boss, they're not as fun to argue with. But, then you can always go find someone online to argue with. So it's the best arrangement until you bump into into that person that you never expect to find. Hugs to both of you.
Don't wear Phil out @Sacheen BrightEagle , let him rest...he's on EST. How long is he staying? @Ina I. Wonder , you're single too....you can join us.
@Sacheen BrightEagle & Phil, something told me that Phil would figure out the logistics of your distance problem. He's got brains hiding behind that clown outfit and face paint. His prior occupation as a pirate should've warned you of his surprise attach abilities. You already know of his ability to charm you, so you might as well give up, or would that be just plain surrendering? HUGS to you both.
Hope Phil didn't forget to pack his Pirate outfit....hmmmm, shiver me timbers, lol. I think I'll go look for a bike online now.
LOL, Chrissy Well, I gotta tell you. I've seen a lot of men out there cycling, and most have been I'd say, over 50
Just imagine what I'd look like riding a bike in Fresno's heat, Denise. My chances are better in a dark bar except I don't drink. And I don't like to drive at night. I'm a wild one, lol.
I hear you Chrissy, our weather is so moderate here I love it. I was raised in the hot climates so I know what you mean. I'm gettin spoiled here on the coast
Well there was I feeling down and limpy and then ................. I log onto these wonderful posts I'm happy to know you all - have a great day !
Good morning everyone! It's grand to know, not everyone has a case of the blues today! I watched a rare movie on Hulu last night, "Interstellar" I enjoyed it very much. Hope good things happen to you this day!
Mornin'. I'm getting a late start. Had sleeping troubles last night. Actually, it was more like breathing troubles. The high humidity kicked that in. I got a few chores to tend to today. Nothing serious. Just bothersome. My #1 son is getting his gear all primed and ready for hunting season. Squirrel season opens in a couple weeks. #2 son is practicing for the bow deer season. Between the two, there should be some meat this winter.
Good morning everyone, while @Joe Riley got into a space movie, I got hung up on westerns. You have to look, but they do still make them. I watched a couple of Tom Selleck, and one with Tim Daily. I've been watching Netflix lately, so I'm on the lookout for westerns made in the last ten years. Got any suggestions?
Good Morning, Y'all. It's trash day again, so I have to get to that in a few minutes, but not until I get dressed. The sun's shining again, and we're still under a heat advisory, so it'll be another indoors day. I did pop outside to do a few small tasks yesterday, but hunkered down in here most of the day. I hope everyone's having a good week so far.
Good morning! Another dry hot day in north central Texas. I think the rain gods have forgotten us. However, despite the heat my son is picking up his senior schedule today . Yea!
