I just didn't know where to put this, thought about where it fits, and, you know, it just does not fit anywhere. Sunday is "go topless' day for women. Seriously ? What is that supposed to prove ? They are claiming that it is all about equality; but I don't think that a woman going around with her breasts bare makes her anymore equal than before she did that. I am old-fashioned; but to me, covering up a woman's body is better than parading around half naked. Traditionally. It has been the disrespected woman who has had her body uncovered. The more respectable and respected a woman is, usually the better dressed she was. There is a huge difference between being treated equally and being treated the same. As an example, let's suppose you have a dog and a parakeet. You don't give the dog parakeet seed so he will be treated equal with the parakeet, and you don't take the parakeet out in the back yard to play frisbee. You might love them both equally, and treat them both equally, as far as they are both fed and taken care of properly; but you just do not treat them the same way, because they are two very different creatures. The same thing appplies to men and women. We should give both equal respect; but still acknowledge the differences, and (to me) a woman being properly clothed in public is something that generates respect for her.
Topless is of course always of interest to me! My hometown forum a few years back bore an OP by a local resident, who had been taken to Sicily as a youth by his parents, that being their birthplace, and he described the beaches they visited as offering generally topless display by most of the ladies. It simply did not bother them. He, being in his early teens, said he was quite particularly bothered!. Frank

Like I was some kind of dirty ol'e woman but different when I overheard him talk about it to his friends.I didn't have a clue what it was. He got time off from work and came to visit.

Guess I'm just old fashioned. I used to love seeing women in dresses and hats. I say "used to" because I can't remember when I last saw a woman dressed like the photo below.
We should be allowed to be individuals, and not herded into groups. Group protest Days are mostly phony stuff!
I will tell anyone, besides my wife, the only women in the world that "could" turn my head would be someone like Jacquline Smith.....in a nice one-piece swimsuit or Business attire, definitely NOT topless or nude. My wife in Wranger jean's, her Ariat lace-up Roper boots, Western top and Resistol Cowboy Hat.......totally HOT looking!!

Sorry, @Ike Willis, tattoo's, no matter where they are, just don't appeal to me at all. I don't have any and neither does my wife. One of the things she instantly liked about me was no tattoo's. Funny, while I was involved with pro-rodeo, I was attracted to the "pleasing plump" type ladies and would get criticized by other cowboys for looking at them.
