No more antibacterial soap will be made. So, if you're a big user of it, better stock up. I was never a fan so no big deal for me. Seems it really isn't any better than regular soap according to the FDA. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2016/09/02/antibacterial-soap-soon-disappear/89774728/
I wash me hands a 'lot' and have very dry skin as a result. You can't change me though although I've never used the soaps above, I do sometimes use the gel
My skin has no lack of greasiness. I shower in the evening, instead of the morning, to avoid the grease-transfer overnight to whatever I'm lying on. I have recently contracted (?), (developed) Arthritic Psoriasis, small, quarter-sized patches, not numerous, most near a joint, which itch intensely. Blood has flowed. Found that Hydrocortisone cream, OTC, carefully mixed with equal amount of 91% Rubbing Alcohol, then Baby Lotion, pink, added until a thin, almost runny mix, applied twice daily excels over the doctor prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide cream. If you have skin problems, try this mixture. Nothing harmful, it seems to work wonders! Frankl
What exactly is anti-bacterial soap? And how is it different from the ordinary soap bar that we use in the bathroom? I'm pretty sure that the anti-bacterial soap is more expansive than the ordinary soap bar. But anyway, the FDA had said it that the anti-bacterial soap is not any better, huh. Does that mean the public is being duped all the time with those false advertising of the anti-bacterial soap manufacturer?
I have never been a user of bacterial soap. I try to use Ivory only as it is about as pure as commercially made soap gets.
We don't use the anti-bacterial soap. My wife and I both use lots of hand sanitizer. She has always been a "germaphobic" and carries hand sanitizer in her purse. I spend a lot of time on large construction projects. With a 70 year old bladder, I make a lot of trips to the porta-johns. I have hand sanitizer in the driver's door cup holder in my truck. I have another on my desk in my job office.
Anti bacterial soap is used widely in the health industry. I wonder what is going to be the replacement. I hated using it because it dried my hands terribly. It didn't matter what the container said to prevent dryness it still occurred. I practiced the habit of keeping small hotel soaps around at work to avoid using that soap.
I have no fear of germs at all and only wash hands if they are dirty or while I'm showering. I had to remember to use it whenever I was in a hospital environment. So far I've not caught anything. My Dil is a germaphobe. There's sanitizer everywhere, yet her boys pee on the toilet seats which concern me more.
