I'm too lazy to get up and look in the mirror but I'm betting they're perfect. Why would my ears be any different than the rest of me?
If I didn't have ears I couldn't wear glasses and my hat would slide down over my eyes. Otherwise, I don't use 'em much.
I think most of us went through a bang phase when we were younger. My mother used to cut my bangs all the time. My hair grew fast. I always hated when she cut them too short. I haven't had bangs since I was a kid. In terms of my ears...I agree with Ken..perfect in every way..lol. Actually, they are nice! I like my ears!
As a child, my hair was never cut. It was always braided, worn on top of my head, or just loose in the winters. Who needed a coat in south Texas more than a day or two? I didn't vote for BO, but I have his ears. My father told me I looked like a taxi going down the road with it's doors open. If I could have afforded it, I would have had my ears fixed when I was young. Now it doesn't matter, and look at the money I've saved. Oh well.
You are beautiful as you are, beauty shines from the eyes and the smile on yer face Grumpy, mean people, do not exude beauty - even if the features are in the right place ....
We are having thunder storms today, so the temperature is only in the upper 70's. Stormy days make me lazy, and as I have nothing to do I am curled up under a fuzzy blanket. But I'm so lazy I've haven't adjusted my indoor temperature, so I'm cold. My random thought for the day is, it's hard to type while your shivering.
I read something a long time ago, and it made me think of the ways just one act can change so many lives in so many different ways.. Sometimes this thought brings me peace, and at other times it brings anger. "One man's sins is - by quirk of fate or need or desperation - another man's necessity.
Yes, very philosophical and very true. Especially if you are someone who is using a gun perhaps. Or maybe a specific act of kindness can change people's lives. It is kind of mind boggling to think about actually. I hope we all try to use our acts for the good or to benefit society in some way. It is the best thing to do of course.
John Sebastian, founder of the Lovin' Spoonful, is the godson of Vivian Vance, who played Ethel Mertz on I Love Lucy, while his godfather and frequent baby sitter was Garth Williams, who illustrated Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and the Little House series.
Speaking of ears, I notice last night that in the silence of my room while laying down one of my ears was in an awkward position (similar to that of Obama's) but I just layed there and listened to the crickets. I played with my ear for a moment and noticed that I could hear the crickets much clearer. So I'm thinking "What have I been missing are these years?"
It is rumored that crickets can tell the outside temperature: Count the number of chirps they make in one minute, divide by 4 and then add the number 40 to reach the outside temperature.
