An amateur photographer was out along the Loch and hoping to photograph deer, and happened to get a great picture of what may be the fabled Loch Ness Monster. This creature has had reported sightings since at least the 1930's, and perhaps even before that.
Although many claim that there is no such thing as the Loch Ness Monster, some of the sightings have been done by well-respected people, and not believed to be pranksters, just like this one is considered legitimate.
Since we are finding creatures turning up in the ocean , as well as other remote areas of the world, I think that it is quite likely that there is some sort of creature (or creatures) that live in the Loch.
Lake Chelan , in central Washington State has had reports of its own "monster", as has some lake in Canada that I do not remember the name of at the moment. Kootenai Lake, maybe ?
Anyway, here is the Loch Ness picture.

That is a pretty good pic. It looks like a sea serpent of some kind. I thought recently they discredited the Loch Ness Monster though, and thought it was part of an old movie prop. The other lake that I know of that is supposed to have a famous monster is Champ, from Lake Champlain. Champ is interesting to researchers because it is the same approximate geographic location...longitude, and latitude of Nessie. So who knows? The Nessie pic looks pretty real to me!

    How interesting.

I also like watching 'They'll never end up "Finding Bigfoot" I want these creatures to be real but have to wonder if they are.

I remember my early days in my first job, Loch Ness monster was always the topic. My colleagues were very interested and majority of them believed that the creature existed. However, in the years to come, some scientists wanted to settle the issue once and for all. They tried to get sponsors so they could install sonars and radars around the lake. And history tells us that the gadgets did not find anything except for fishes.

PS. Pardon me but in this digital age, pictures and even videos cannot be trusted anymore because even school children can edit pictures and videos.

As a Scot born and raised we grew up with the legend of the Loch Ness monster..and of course zillions of people have spent years visiting the loch trying to spot it, as well as experts deep diving and using sonar to try and discover if it really exists without any luck......however I saw that picture a few days ago Yvonne, and it's the most realistic sighting I've ever seen...so I'm waiting now to see if the experts are going to follow up this latest sighting . I'd love it if, after all these years it's proven to actually exist.

If it were just the Loch Ness Monster that people thought they saw, the existance would be more debatable; however, there are lakes and rivers all over the world with reports of large creatures, some described as more like giant eels, some like dragons/lizards, and some are definitely more like a fish.
Most of the lakes where they are seen are very deep ones, and some connect with the ocean, and there have been legends of sea monsters for ages.
Even though some of these sightings are probably hoaxes, or just people who think they are seeing a monster, there have definitely been some sightings that are credible enough to lend truth to the idea of large creatures actually being in some of these lakes.
I think that there are very likely species of fish, reptiles, and even mammals that we do not know exist. There is a whole lot of this earth where humans have never set foot; and these are the areas where the supposed mythical creatures, such as sasquatch, are said to live.
Since we didn't even believe that panda bears were real until just over 100 years ago, and pandas stand out from their environment and do not try to hide, it makes total sense to me that there could be all kinds of things we don't know about that do exist.
Here is an interesting list from Wikipedia of places where Loch Ness types of monsters have been reported as being seen.
