GRRRRRRR- This morning is starting off great..I thought I was going to have a deposit in my bank today from the mystery shopping company I work for. The 22nd is their regular paydate, and I am certain I have been paid on a Saturday before, but of course, when I called the bank, the said the deposit was to be credited on the 24th!!! I mean could the company not have put a note on their website?? I mean the banks are open. I had plans for today, including attending a job fair, and now they are all shot to Hell! GRRRRRR...Anyway, Good Morning. I hope your days are all better than mine. Actually roomie just brought me a cup of coffee...I guess he felt sorry for me..
. I agree with @Honey Gee about not giving up on the right man showing up in your life, just because of age. I think that I have said before, but I was 57, living alone in a pokey little trailer in the wilderness in North Idaho, met Bobby online, he was runnning a small Christian rescue mission in Charlotte, NC. I was between jobs, traveled across the country to meet him after we had been corresponding online for a while, fell in love, married him, and then brought him back home to Idaho. So, true love can come along at any age, @Denise Happyfeet . Both Bobby and I had had bad marriages, and didn't ever plan on finding someone else, not even looking; but we met on a Christian website chat area that we both belonged to.
I was about 57 when I met my ex, he was great in emails and on the phone and messenger but when he came to visit me in Fresno from Ohio I wasn't so thrilled but I had just been widowed and probably took the easy way out. So, he moved in with me. Thank goodness I didn't marry him. Maybe the difference was I came from a wonderful husband and not a bad marriage and maybe I was looking for the exact replacement for my husband and he wasn't it.
True, and I'm not looking for love now, so maybe it will find me...in my recliner. Only men I've come across lately are ones fixing something on my house. All too young.
Time for a toy boy me thinks. I agree love will come along if it's meant to. So sad you were so young when your husband died. Tragic xxx
I am not looking for love at the moment, but I will be, when I have my act together a bit more. Anyway, I found out it is the bank that is not crediting the funds until Monday, and of course the bookkeepers are off today. I need a local account, but I think I am going to have to consider changing my direct deposit back to the credit union, although they are 45 minutes from here. Of course that might cause even more hassle. However, this circumstance is just not OK! In fact it is ridiculous! Sorry, to be complaining on the happy thread!
That's ok @K E Gordon, I'd be complaining too....things like that tick me off. While we are in complaining mode....you're username is a pain when tagging...for me anyway. I'm just teasing....
Chrissy: I like everyone so of course you are included if we all agreed it would be a very dull life. I learned being a bystander in this game of life allows you to see all the information without getting involved and upset. Only my personal life do I get involved. Chrissy I love your response it helps me check what I believe to see if it is accurate. It is still morning here so I can still wish everyone a great day.
*Yawn* Good morning, y'all. I can't believe it's after 10 and I'm hoping for a nap after a bit. I've been up for a while. Snarling dog next door is irritating me. One of the cats has diarrhea, so I've been going around cleaning that up. I'm hoping it's just because I am running low on the better food and swapped out a can of the less good stuff last night. We'll see. I do have some canned pumpkin, so I can add that in to firm it up. I hope y'all are done with breakfast before reading this . It could also be the weather change/allergies, because I had the windows open all day yesterday. The fresh air was nice, but my allergies have been acting up, and same with the kitties. I've already been out to the mailbox, sending off a package. I really need to get some birthday and Halloween cards in the mail, as well, but I'm not going back out there today, because there's a bit audience and I'm still in my PJs.
