Yes, I will mention it. It does say it's hereditary and nobody that I'm aware of had this condition but who knows?

Ive not noticed it before but this was the most blood Ive had drawn at once. Since I didn't have insurance I'd keep my bloodwork to a minimum because I was paying cash.

I hope it's a good morning for all of us senior egg heads. :p I've been listen to the online seminar about the thyroid that @Yvonne Smith told us about. The first day was over five hours, and although much of it is over my head, I am able to get a better understanding of how this organ functions.

It is a week long seminar, so I'll be checking in, in the late afternoon or evening. So peeps, I'm fine and "I'm a tryin to get some more know how".

I listened to some on Monday but forgot yesterday. Some of the things I do know, I've had this condition since my 20's.

My doc has me on Levothyroxine, for some thyroid matter. I didn't ask why, just figured I must need it. I think enlarged thyroid gland, maybe.

    Morning All.
A tad bit sore from all the physical stuff yesterday. It will be good for me in the long run.
Back at it today; won't be so hard as the big stuff was done yesterday.
    Enjoy the Day.

Mornin'. We got a cool, clear, dry day ahead and the cubs are somehow still alive in this series. And Hillary is another year older as of yesterday. A late happy birthday Hillary, you old bat. I'll post your card at the end of this post.
So, twelve more day until the revolution begins. It begins if Trump wins, and maybe if Hillary wins, but in a different way.
Speaking of revolution, there was one or another revolution going on in the world the whole time I was going through high school. The Cuban revolution began in 1953 and ended in about 1959. Being the kind of kid I was, or am according to some, I followed the goings on as best I could. Some of the publications devoted to firearms, that I religiously read every page of, every month, published articles about that fight and how many American X-GI's were heading to Cuba to join the fight.
My head was full of daydreams of me, graduating high school, entering Cuba, joining the rebels and becoming a great hero of the revolt.
Then, in 1956 the Hungarian's violently rose up against their communist government. WOW! I thought. This one's closer to my ancestral land. And I was off on another series of daydreams. In the evenings, I would study my maps as I listened to news broadcasts, for any mention of the revolts going on.
In the early 1950's, a relative from Europe visited our house. He told us of his life in Europe and how he came to be in America. I'll post his obit if I can find it. And here it is below.

Albert Salek, 88, of Belmont passed away on July 22nd at his home while in the loving care of his family.
Albert was born on October 11, 1926 in Visolaje, Slovakia, the son of Imrich and Anna Kavecka Salek. His family moved to Rajec, Slovakia during his childhood. He was educated at the Zilina gymnasium where he concentrated in philosophy, Latin, and literature. He graduated from the University of Bratislava in 1949 where he majored in literature and philosophy.
He was forced to escape from Czechoslovakia because he was vocally critical of the Communist regime and refused to study the Marxist-Leninist doctrine. Local Communist bosses threatened to send him to prison or to a labor camp to work in uranium mines. With minimal belongings and no money, he crossed on foot into West Germany at the end of August 1949 and ultimately arrived at a refugee camp for students.
Idle life and poor food characterized this camp. Because of this, he decided to go to Paris. To do so, he had to cross the French border illegally and on foot in November 1949. Living conditions were somewhat better in Paris with the added benefit of learning the French language. He did one year of graduate work in French literature at the Sorbonne (1950-51). Monetary difficulties forced him to interrupt his studies in France and he emigrated to Canada in August 1951. While working at Ford Company, he continued his studies at the University of Western Ontario (London) where he obtained his B.A. degree with a specialization in French and Latin.
He continued working at various jobs to pursue his studies at the University of Montréal and obtained his M.A in French literature in 1956. His thesis was entitled Péguy and Modern Times. He also attended St. Joseph's Teachers' College in Montréal and obtained the elementary and high school teacher's diploma (Bachelor in Pedagogy—1957).
After a brief experience teaching on the high school level in Montréal, he continued his studies at the University of Montréal and obtained his Ph.D. in 1962 with a specialty in contemporary French literature. His thesis was entitled Comparative study of Péguy and Mounier. All courses and exams at the University of Montréal were conducted in French.
Since 1960 he taught French literature at the university level at Sir George Williams University, Montréal; Loyola University, New Orleans; Nebraska State University, Lincoln; Rivier College, Nashua, NH; and finally Emmanuel College, Boston, MA from 1965 until his retirement in 1992.
I guess he was a revolutionary too, in a sense. Maybe it runs in the family. I certainly don't have any of his intelligence. Oh well, have a great day my friends. The weekend is closing in fast. :)
