LOL, yeah, same thing happens to me with toilet paper! I think I really like it, does the job, then I decide I want something fluffier, and I have a closet full of the other.
Good afternoon, y'all. It's Monday, and that's how my day's been. Going to take a nice hot bath in a bit. Drinking hot tea with lemon and honey, and have been all morning. It's sunny out, a pretty day, and I'll take the cats out after my bath, then just going to rest up. Hope everyone's having a good day.
Morning all. Another beautiful day. Watching the egrets chasing lizards. It is so comical to see them run. Nature is beautiful. Not so keen of the cooing of the pigeons. I suspect you can't have it all. Enjoy your day all. Not my pic folks.
Mornin'. Yet another boring, partly cloudy, in the 60's day here in the land of corn and bacon. I so wish the weather would cut loose with something. The farmers are probably happy though, having dry fields to do their harvesting in. Someone was trying my door around 2am. Usually when that happens, it's just someone who got off the elevator on the wrong floor. Well, that's all I got. Have a great day y'all, while I go run my trap line. My liberal traps might be full.
When I divorced I was determined to set a goal and achieve it with my new hubby @Patsy Faye. As in any country there is corruption and crime not as bad as the UK. There are some Brits who think they they are superior to the Spanish but I believe we are blessed that we encompass the Spanish in our lives. We have many friends of all nationalities. This is not my country, we are privileged that the Canarians allow us to live alongside them .Many Brits do not have that ethos and treat them appallingly.
@Honey Gee - absolutely agree with you, I cringe at the way some brits behave abroad If I lived abroad, I would certainly embrace that country
Good Morning, Y'all. @Ike Willis Are you sure it wasn't a lady hoping to get lucky? Thanks @Patsy Faye and @Honey Gee. Today seems to be slightly better, although I can barely see, because I was awake off and on all night. One of the perks of that was I finished the book I was reading, and I also got to see the Super Moon . It's cooler today. I think it's only going to be in the 60's, and there's a light breeze. No rain, yay, but a little fog. I have to go out in a few hours, and the fog should be burned off by then. It's trash day, and mine's out there. There's a bit more than usual, and it's been a busy week with the cats, so I've got a pailful of dirty cat litter and wee wee pads out there. The last time I did that, someone removed everything off the top of the cat litter pail, apparently to see what was inside of it, or go through the contents. They didn't even have the courtesy to put the items back on, but let them fall into the ditch, which meant I had to go pick them up. I hope they got kitty diarrhea on their hands from going through the pail. Although I know trash is considered public property when it's put there to be picked up, it irritates me. If it's a piece of furniture or something else of value, I place it out early (as do my neighbors), and sometimes post it in the Facebook group, so people who want it can come get it, but if it's actual trash, I don't want strangers going through it.
