Ha ha ! I think many more believe than they care to admit Babs I'm a very spiritual person, so I do ask for guidance and strength The Bible though, has me more confused - as long as we live to be a worthwhile and loving person I'm sure that's a belief in itself @Babs Hunt
I'm going to Glen Carbon, Illinois. Across the Mississippi from St. Louis. I think it's the Mississippi, could be the Missouri River...I forget.
Gosh, it's a two cup of coffee morning with this cold weather...but since caffeine really affects me you'll probably see me bouncing off the walls any minute now...
Good morning, our oldest daughter arrived from CO, early Sunday morning, after a TEN hour delay at Denver airport. Baggage stayed behind and has yet to arrive. She will leave on Wednesday, to return home. She loves Christmas, and loves The north pole place there, year round. We survived the ice storm and it all went away on Saturday. It is a frosty 20 degrees, this morning. I hope everyone is having a grand day!
Glad your daughter made it ok, @Joe Riley. I wasn't even worrying about my baggage ...til now. A short trip...make the most of it!
Oh no!! In winter months I try not connect where weather could be a problem because I've been delayed in Denver And Some other places where snow is a possibility. Sometime delays aren't weather related but mechanical or crew problems but those are unavoidable.
They live in Parker, a suburb of Denver. Her flight took off, before they shut down the airport. They had a mountain of luggage left behind from other flights as well.
Is that near Aurora...my niece lives around there. She's moved a few times and I kind of remember a Parker address once.
I guess I got ready to post this the day it bloomed, and an answer to Honey's "bloomin" comment, oh well, glad my little "rescue plants" are doing so well Speak of bloomin!! I had a new one this a.m. but on my African Violet!
