A very good morning to you all, we woke up early at 6 am so still a bit sleepy, the flight back home is not until 6:30 pm so have plenty of time to get ready, plus I will be flying back in time so will arrive around 9pm in the UK. This is a photo I took last night on the way to the concert with added snow
Great picture ! I hope the weather is kind to you on your way home Terry, the forecast isn't good for the next few days Gales and rain ! Hoping you will just avoid it and it comes when you are home Wishes for a pleasant journey @Terry Page
Mornin'. I'm so excited. We got rain, freezing rain, snow, hail, tornados and who knows what all, in the forecast for today. Depending on which weathercaster you want to believe. And, it's scheduled to start any minute now. Well, I finally got a fruitcake. Two, in fact. Grocer brought one and my daughter got me one. I always want a fruitcake and never get one. And people make fun of me for liking them. I don't make fun of people who eat oysters or raw fish. So, it's Friday, fun day, casual Friday or whatever. Enjoy it, 'cause you only get one more this year. That's all I got. Behave for today and tomorrow, then you can cut loose again for awhile.
@Ike Willis Looks like you have crazy weather day ahead of you...hunker down tight and enjoy your fruitcake! @Terry Page Have a safe flight back home....hope you are bringing back some wonderful Holiday memories with you. @Patsy Faye You are always so cheerful in the morning! It's so nice to wake up to that cheerfulness. Wherever you are today, know there is someone who cares and wishes you a very blessed and pain free day!
Hope it's a good day for you all Xx @Babs Hunt - I appreciate you too Babs, you're a delight so you are @Ike Willis - same here Ike - what's coming has a name, Barbara? some woman riding on a whirlwind Batten down those hatches - she's a comin'
Good morning! Rain all day here too! Everybody is home today, so and Dil are off til Tuesday. At 10:00 a.m. We see the Star Wars movie, then out to lunch, then a cookie decorating party at their friends house who also have 3 little boys...and a girl. Yesterday was a good day, the kids were fun to be with...we laughed a lot. Sometimes that's not always the case as there is one crying, lol. When the boys went to bed, we listened to Christmas music and wrapped presents...that took awhile. I always wake up tired here but it's getting better, maybe I'm used to the time change an dthe constant activity. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!
Good Afternoon, Y'all. Yay, I'm back from Kroger, and am not leaving the house until after Christmas, other than to check the mail, take care of the strays, etc., Fighting a migraine, but thankfully it's not one of the super bad ones. I always seem to have to go to the store when I have one, and the smells there make it worse. @Terry Page I love your snow pics, thanks for sharing them. I don't have real snow here, so they're a nice substitute. I now have 3 trees up, and they're lit most of the day. I tried making cream cheese brownies yesterday, but only about half of them came out right. I think the oven's on its last legs. I do have lottery tickets, though, so fingers are crossed for a win. I played beat the clock with another library book and won, but I think I need to give my eyes a break for a bit. Hope everyone's having a good day.
@Diane Lane Such as this one, if you do click on Migraine, make sure you read readers reviews, scroll down page https://www.earthclinic.com/ailments.html?ltr=M#ailments
@Patsy Faye I'm sure I have, but it's been a while. I've had them since I was at least 12, so I've tried most things. Ice helps a lot, since the majority of my ailments stem from chronic inflammation, but sometimes I need the actual meds. I've done without them for months, but sometimes I have to just break down and take them. If there's something that works for you, let me know. It seems some things are in common use over there, but not here. I had to get the generic pills, because in the Advil Migraine (which is the one I usually buy), all they had was a $10 package, which I couldn't afford. So far, no stomach upset, though, which is great .
