The only thing different about Sundays for me (if I was at 'home' and not fostered off) - was wearing Sunday best
and hopefully going to my Nans that day. Although, my Italian foster parents did shove us kids to Church, which
I liked, felt like real family also she made sure I had my first communion, also nice, I felt like a princess :)

Good Morning @Patsy Faye Maybe @Terry Page is sleeping in? Or maybe he's in charge of all the kiddos today while Lisa gets her beauty rest. :)

Hi Joe. As usual, you hit the nail on the head pretty much, with this Post cover. Here's a photo of my crew when there were only 4 of 'em. All dressed up for church.

We were awakened very early by the cats who are normally shut in the kitchen with a cat flap, but the children left the door open last night, so in the early hours we were presented with a dead mouse and a lot of mewing for praise  ....have spent most of the day doing nothing much, though I have been on an Indian Travel forum sorting out final details for our trip to India on the 17th January...
It's a grey drizzly day here so we haven't been inspired to go out walking. ...have a good Sunday whatever is left of it in your part of the globe...

A very Good Morning to you all, I am dragging a bit today, not yet fully functional [IMG] but I will be after another coffee I am sure. I am packing up here to leave for home after the afternoon school run. It will be good to relax and do nothing much for a few days in my own space, before all the hustle and bustle of flying off on vacation for 3 weeks..

The weather here is dry but fairly gloomy, I did notice a few green buds on the bushes and trees in the garden, so spring is on the way...

    Have a great Monday...

    Good Morning. :)

Loving my mug of peppermint mocha flavored coffee and a big macadamia nut cookie this morning...what a great way to start off the morning. :)

For two days now our birdbaths have been frozen solid, but today the warming up trend will begin and the ice will all melt away. For many of you this is a normal part of winter, but here in Cajunland we don't really have alot of these "frozen and icy" days of winter. We will have some happy birds over this...and a few happy dogs too that like to come and drink out of one of our bird baths.

Good news this past weekend for my middle daughter and her family, their house that flooded during the August rains is now renovated to the point they were able to start moving "home" and we all are rejoicing over this. Once they are all settled in again we will have our Family gathering to celebrate the "homecoming".:)

Today I will be waiting to hear the "verdict" on test results and for the Heart Specialist's office to call and set up an appointment for me...and hoping that wait won't end up taking all week or into the next. It seems sometimes it is "hurry up and wait" time with things like this but the waiting to find out test results is never much fun.

Enjoy your day...I hope it gives you many reasons to smile and laugh by the time it has ended. :)

Ha-ha-ha! The birds remind me of a story. When I was in about the 4th grade I was walking to school. Suddenly, a big glob of bird poop landed on my right shoulder and head. Since I was only 4 blocks from home, I went back to clean up and get a different shirt. Both parents were at work by then. I was late getting to school, but my parents didn't find that out until report cards came out. Mom said try to not walk under any trees. Dad just laughed, both at me and mom.

@Ike Willis I know what you mean, as much as I love having our bird feeders hanging from the oak tree in our front yard...I definitely make sure I place my lawn chair no where near those feeders when it's feeding time for all the birds. And I'm sorry to say I had to learn that "lesson" the hard way!:p
