Cooper's Hawk

    I had seen a neighbor mention these on the neighborhood Facebook group, but I'd never seen one myself until yesterday. We had torrential rain, and I got up to see how deep it was, and noticed the hawk in a tree in the yard behind me. These were taken with my cell phone, so they're not as clear as I'd like, but it was handy. The feet and beak are yellow.

    Pictures are really clear for a cell. Beautiful bird I don't think I've ever seen one either.

    Nice pictures. The only hawks around here that I'm familiar with are Red Tailed, Red Shouldered, and Sparrow Hawks.

    They were quite common when I lived on the farm in South West Ontario beautiful birds
