Yea, but Valentine's Day is so much fun for some of us. I didn't think about it at all when I was single/divorced, but now that I'm married.......love it!! Get my wife a cute stuffed toy, nice card and a good dinner out. I love buying her the stuffed toy. Some move and sing, while others don't. She loves tigers, so last year I got her a medium size stuffed tiger holding a red heart that said "I Love You" on it. I'm such a romantic and she loves that.
Obviously not my favorite holiday since I only have Pickles but I'm not going to bah humbug about it and I'm happy for all the couples that do enjoy it. I did once too.
Nope.............all year long! At times I will send her a regular "love" greeting card in e-mail (she loves that). There is a yellow sticky-note inside the lid of her small lunch box that says "I love you" and when it gets a little wrinkled up, I replace it.
That's sweet...I used to put little notes or little surprises in my kids lunchboxes. If I had the chance I also did it a few times for the grandsons. Also put little notes in my husbands suitcase...he travelled a lot on business.
Valentine's Day is for the flow of love to loved ones. Here's hoping I get a Valentine's Day request at the dating site I'm on. I get so tickled when a young gentleman is nice to me at the site, they are so kind!
