This is Bethanne again....Thank you for the thoughts but letting you know Dad passed away lastnight at 1:30 a.m.....he's been having more health issues then we were aware of. Mostly heart failure & kidney failure. All us kids & some grandkids were with him!! But once again Thank you all for being good friends with him. He really enjoyed this forum & his friends have shone him so much care & concern !! <3
Very sad to hear this, Bethanne....he was very much loved on here and will be missed. My condolences to you and your family.
Bethanne, I am so saddened by the loss of your Dad, and extend our deepest sympathies to you and your Family. "Ike" was a much loved member of our group here!
I posted my condolences in the good morning thread... maybe @Ken Anderson can put them all in one place as remembrance to Ike. Sticky it somewhere so it doesn't get lost...
So saddened to hear that your dad has passed on, Bethanne, and now sending prayers for peace and God's comfort for you and the rest of @Ike Willis family. Even though our dear friend has gone on to be in Heaven with Jesus, he will always be a part of this forum in our memories. Your dad was one of the most unforgettable people, and we always looked forward to his stories. Even as we shed tears for him here, we know that Jesus is giving Ike a big "welcome home " hug.....
I think @Terry Page could do a very nice photo as a tribute to Ike ...and we could all add our whatever we want to that....it would be nice to have it all in one place....I'm thinking Terry because he's good at making those type of graphics... Maybe @Ken Anderson can start an "in memory of" category....Ike was a big part of this forum and was around here a long time.
Mine are in the Good Morning thread, too, and I like Chrissy's suggestion of moving them all here in one memorial thread, @Ken Anderson . We have a catagory for "people I have known, and it does not get a lot of use, so maybe that would be a good place to put the "in memory of" thread ?
Oh, I am so sorry to hear about Ike's passing. He will be sorely missed. Once I get started downstairs, on my larger computer, I will set up a sub-forum for memorials.
