I'm hearing from his staff that he is very willing to ask questions on how to go about things legally, and he delegates. He's a workaholic, I think that's what I'm seeing as well. I agree that things have to be thought through well and maybe he did jump the gun on this one. I hope it does all work for the good.

By the way @Patsy Faye I got to hear from Nigel today, I can't help it, I just love him;) I did notice a lot of people giving him applause, but as he said in the interview after the speech, many more hate him, don't like him, lots against him. He doesn't seem to stop him from speaking up though, wtg Nigel!

I do lean more into his timing being right on. I think we might as well go for it now. One thing I thought of after my earlier thoughts on this thread is the fact that waiting could have given too much opportunity for the info to leak. Someone mentioned that happening and giving any "bad guys" the headsup. I don't remember exactly what was said now.

I've said it before but all we have to do is take a look at Sweden, Germany or countries that are in so much trouble from "open border" welcoming all. If we want the US to end up the same, than be against Trump's extreme vetting. I'd sure rather have that than extreme terrorism. Many are talking about the home-grown terrorists, well, we have to start somewhere and we are starting at least. Obviously, this President isn't going to spend much time vacationing and golfing or giving boring speeches that laced with bullshit.

I agree with taking action 'quickly' - my concern was all the confusion and chaos it created
Hopefully it will sort itself out
We have the other problem here - too bloomin' SLOW ! :p

Here is an interesting fact that no one has even said during the Second World War would we have brought in German or Japanese people and give them immigrant status of course not. The U.S. is at war in most of those countries dropping bombs on the people. People are so stupid it is laughable .

I saw that @Gary Ridenour it went by so fast on tv I wasn't sure it was Victoria BC or Victoria in Australia. I'm surprised at Canada inviting more immigrants in. Who's calling the shots up there?

The Canadian people are calling the shots Denise. This is a multicultural country. Currently, our Prime Minister is under pressure to further facilitate the process allowing concerned Muslims wishing to emigrate from US to Canada As for the horrific attack on the

mosque in Quebec. It was perpetrated by a Caucasian Québécois male who had a far right agenda, and admired Marine LePen. Both our security and American security found no links with ISIL or any other terrorist group. just another lone wolf nut job. The Muslim man mentioned in the news was found to be an innocent witness, although it

took a stern letter from the Prime Minister's office before Fox News acknowledged that fact and stopped implicating him in the attack.

I am a Canadian and not proud of it anymore the government has gone so far to the globalist that there is no hope for them. You can criticize any religion in Canada that was there freedom of speech but not now if you say anything about Muslim you can go to jail. The Muslim religion now has a higher standard than the majority religion of the country. This is the same country who through Germans and Japanese into internment camps even if they were born in Canada but had parents of those countries. Not only brining in so call refugees from countries that they are helping to bomb they are giving them a higher standard than the natural born people. I lived in Canada most of my life and born there and feel very sad to see what they have done to the country I once loved and proud of.

Martin, isn't it interesting that we have such disparate experiences of the same country? Fortunately we have the freedom to express our dissent. Congratulations on building a life in an environment more suited to your needs. Salut!
