Sometimes I enjoy listening to the orginal writers of a song perform them. Maybe their voice isn't as good as the person who made the song famous, but you can hear the hard work they put into the song. Some that come to mind:

In June 1956, Buddy Holly, Jerry Allison and Sonny Curtis went to see the movie The Searchers, starring John Wayne, in which Wayne repeatedly used the phrase "that'll be the day". This line of dialogue inspired the young musicians. and............
I had never heard the above song without lyrics before, and it took me a bit to recognize it. Good catch @Joe Riley !
