The day didn't turn out as planned because Katya unfortunately missed her connecting flight here, because the flight from London to Frankfurt landed at the wrong terminal some 2Km away ..........the next doesn't arrive here until 10:30 pm so it will be too late for the planned dinner..... We cheered ourselves up, by planning a May holiday break of 7 days in Sarajevo and around in Bosnia A few pics of Bosnia
Here is Katya and Miro the 2 year old who we will be looking after, when they finally arrive tonight, taken while stuck at Frankfurt airport
@Terry Page - such a shame when things don't work out as planned, hope everything goes well now Little Miro is lovely and 'so' strong too
Chrissy the joke is really sick because if you read the crest tooth paste is says if swallowed seek doctor or poison control because the amount of fluoride is bad for you
I deleted the pic of the Oreos filled with toothpaste...it was just a joke @Martin Alonzo ...I would hope people on here have enough sense not to poison anybody...I wasn't even thinking children, who would play a prank on a child???
This morning I'm dreaming about making us an outdoor haven with plants and flowers and comfortable seating where we can relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of our home. Spring does tend to bring out the artistic urges in me to create beauty around me. I saw some beautiful yellow flowers when I was buying my tomato and bell pepper plants yesterday and even though I didn't take the time to find out what they were, they were exactly the shade of yellow that brings a smile to my face. I want a comfortable swing in my peaceful haven with an awning to shelter me from the weather. I guess I will be doing some research and designing today and picking the area I want to start making this haven in. Happy Sunday friends. My children are all in town this week so I'm a very happy Mother and Granny this morning.
The last couple of late night's finally caught up with me so I am a tad slow getting going today, Lisa has taken Miro to the theatre and I am cooking dinner from leftovers......Have a great Sunday.... I love this painting by Thomas Kennington, for me it somehow captures both youth and age in the expressions.... Mostar Bosnia
I don't think my Honey and I will be making a trip to Walmart's garden area today. We are having severe weather right now with quarter size hailstones in some areas near us. I haven't heard any hail outside where we are but I am really glad my Honey went in to do his Dairy order before the weather got bad!
Good morning to you all on a fairly gloomy Monday weatherwise here, but I am bright and breezy after a good nights sleep. Lisa is out shopping at the moment so I am looking after Miro while preparing dinner, a chicken casserole with a Malaysian style sauce, to which I have added a few spices and some garlic, so will hopefully it be tasty.... Here is a pic I just took of Miro...
