Today I go back to the doctor for the EKG and see what my heart is doing. It has been out of rhythm for over a month now, and I have been back on the amioderone. The next step will be to send me to the hospital for the cardioversion (where they shock the heart back into rhythm) again, and then hopefully, the amioderone will keep it in rhythm.
The doctor who does the heart procedures has me on the operation schedule, but it will be late July or early August before they can do the necessary heart ablation.
Hopefully, this time, it won't go back into fibrillations.
I feel so much better and can do so much more when the heart is not in a-fib, plus they can then cut back on the heart meds that are contributing to the kidney failure.
Tomorrow, Robin and I will head for Memphis to pick up my friend , Evelyn, and bring her home on Saturday; so I will probably not have much time to be on the forum for the weekend, and Monday, we hope to get things finalized for the little apartment for her.
Then, the end of this month, Robin and I are going to Idaho to visit my two sons who live out there, and go to my grandson's graduation ceremony. This has been a busy month , and getting my heart out of fibrillation will help a lot even if it does add a day in the hospital into the schedule.

It is good to see you back on the forum again, @Joyce Mcgregor , and hopefully, once you are settled in back here again, you can spend more time here socializing with everyone like you used to be able to do.
I am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night and being able to visit as we travel back home on Saturday. I am so glad that Robin has a good enough vehicle that we could make that trip all the way to Memphis/Mississippi to come and get you !

Very heavy wildfire smoke in our area this AM. Can see the smoke in the air (haze). Going to look into buying a couple of Particle Masks that have a small square filter in the front. Saw the kind we want on Property Brothers tv show last night. If needed, would wear them to walk to our vehicle in the parking lot here. Once in the vehicle, take them off until we get back home and put on again to walk to our apartment (if needed). Will be inside most of today, with a rolled-up towel pushed up against the bottom of the front door. Don't want that dang smoke coming into our apt.

Suppose to have some rain coming in on Friday night and/or Saturday AM. Don't care if there is a PGA Championship (The Players) going on, we definitely need the rain.

If there is ash particles in the air, and they are so heavy that you need to wear a particle mask, it is also damaging for you to drive your vehicle in that.
When Mt. St. Helens erupted, the ash particles were carried all across Washington State, and into parts of Idaho and Montana. We were living in Spokane at the time, and seeing the ash come down was like watching fine snow (only grey) drifting down. People used the face masks; but they still drove ther cars, and a lot of cars had the engines totally ruined from the ash particles gettting into it. Almost everyone had to change their air filters afterwards, even if they didn't drive very far.
I am sure that what you are experiencing from the nearby forest fires is nowhere near as bad as the ash fallout from the volcano eruption, but it is still something to be aware of when it is bad enough that you cannot safely breathe in it, @Cody Fousnaugh .

We haven't seen any ash particles, only smokiness. If we go somewhere, we turn on the A/C in the vehicle. The smoke plume is coming from the West Mims fire in Georgia. The wind is coming from the north and pushing the smoke plume right over us. It looks like the smog we use to see over Los Angeles when we lived in Orange County.

Apparently this smoke doesn't bother some people. I seen a young lady riding a bike and pulling a small baby cart behind her with a small child sitting in it. I sort of wonder about that.

Good Morning. I got back home from my daughter's in Texas around 6:30pm yesterday and slept in my own bed once again until 9am this morning. It's so good to be back with my Honey and home once again. Hope everyone has a really nice day. :)

    Good morning to you all,

We both woke up early at 5:30 Lisa with leg cramps and a headache, but better after some coffee. I think magnesium and potassium help with leg cramps, but Lisa didn't get the benefit from magnesium oil that I did, so gave it up.

    Have a great Friday...

Productive week. Got the A/C fixed in our Durango, hopefully for a long time. Had an emissions part go bad (made Engine Light go on) in our RAM 1500 and got it replaced. Due to wildfire smoke plume, couldn't go outside, so, while wife was at work, washed throw rugs, mopped/waxed floors and vacuumed. Now to get the front-end rattle fixed on the Durango tomorrow.

Mother's Day is Sunday. Nothing planned because we have no adult kids or grandkids, but will light candles for our deceased mom's in Remembrance of their love for us.

Yesterday I fell asleep at 1pm while watching Blood Bloods on the ION channel...and I did not wake up until 5:30am this morning. I guess my body needed that long rest after all the packing, etc. I did in Texas! :p

Lisa was working till late afternoon, so we decided to eat out at a restaurant that Katya recommended, when she was last here, it was a fairly high end trendy place with nice food and ambience. Here are a few photos...

Lisa had Pike perch in sprout rolls with rice

I had pork with fries and baked apple

They provide pencils for you to write on the tablecloth, presumably as an aid to working out the meaning of life [IMG]
